不念旧恶的典故

东汉末年，曹操为了大业，不计私怨，不念旧恶，受到众将的拥护。例如董卓的部将张绣背叛曹操并杀死曹操的长子曹昂，去投降刘表。三年后张绣投降曹操，曹操并没杀他，而给他封了侯。像这样的例子有魏钟、臧霸、孙观、吴敬等人。
