避实击虚的典故

公元前623年，晋楚在城濮交战，晋文公采用避实就虚的作战方法，避免与楚军的中军主力决战，先令其下军向楚右军进攻，因为楚右军是由陈、蔡两国军队组成的弱势部队，一举取胜。晋军主将狐毛又用计诱歼了楚左军，最终取得重大胜利。
