莫予毒也的典故

公元前633年，楚成王率陈、蔡两国的军队进攻宋国。宋国向晋国求救，晋文公出兵进攻楚国的盟国曹、卫两国，楚军北上并且大败，楚王对统帅子玉十分不满，就命他自杀。晋文公听到子玉自杀的消息高兴地说没有人能加害于他了。
