东汉时期，太守杨震为人正直，清正廉洁，从来不收受别人的贿赂。受他举荐的昌邑县令王密趁着夜色，给他送去10斤黄金。杨震十分不高兴，王密说夜深人静没人知晓的。杨震说：“天知、地知、你知、我知，我不能收这不义之财。”
