魏颗结草的成语故事

基本解释春秋晋魏颗不从父以嬖妾殉葬之命而遣嫁之，后与秦将杜回战于辅氏，“颗见老人结草以亢杜回，杜回踬而颠，故获之。夜梦之曰：‘余，而所嫁妇人之父也……余是以报。’”见《左传·宣公十五年》。后因以“魏颗结草”表示受恩深重，竭力报效之意。

魏颗结草的典故

春秋时期，晋国大夫魏颗没有按照父亲神志不清的遗愿，让父亲的小妾去陪葬而让她改嫁他人。后来在同秦将杜回作战时，那小妾父亲的灵魂在战场上把草打结绊倒秦国大将杜回，帮助魏颗擒拿杜回，算是对他的报答。
