弃甲曳兵的典故

战国时期，梁惠王向孟子请教人口不增长的原因，孟子说：“你是关心百姓的疾苦，但你喜欢打仗，不少百姓死于战争。在战场上他们只好弃甲曳兵了。打比方说战争中潜逃50步的士兵讥笑逃100步的士兵，逃跑的本质是一样的。”梁惠王决心停战。
