蔡生满腹怀琳琅，入门意气何飞飏。手出馈遗不敢当，又作长歌气沛滂。
前幅大半多揄扬，阐发天人明灾祥。中言次贫亦可伤，愿借帑库资糇粮。
九秋岁熟相归偿，普济两月云何妨。后幅硁硁议社仓，转输欲与常平相。
读书致用贵通方，蔡生出之言则臧。止令少安毋仓皇。
蔡生听我言，我言亦孔长。国家荒政在救荒，酌济民食疗死亡，非饱尔欲充尔肠。
抚恤优于借籽粱，圣恩何啻十倍强。八分之灾明且彰，一月两月费评量。
极贫乃是民孱尪，废疾孤独鳏与孀。次贫乃是贫之常，尚堪力作糊羹汤。
况今春和百物昌，台厦贾舶来连樯。海中可以捕鱆鳇，海边可以摸螺螃。
海上可以耕山冈，海口可以肩筐箱。各力尔力忘尔忙，转瞬芃芃禾黍香。
生欲彼此无低昂，无乃于理有未详。澎湖厅库无多藏，去岁借贷已罄筐。
贮有兵饷不敢商，若动台库费周章。大海风波嗟茫茫，来无时兮空怅望。
统计极贫次贫大小户口三万三千郎，今有十万薯丝来海航，岂犹不足餍秕糠。
且也澎湖斥卤乡，秋收虽卜庆丰穰，凶荒之后力不遑。
义仓借钱谁敢攘，岁供积欠敢不蘉。生欲思尔梓与桑，未计尔后愁空囊。
纵然医得眼前疮，他时挖肉心怯恇。我心忖度目岂盲，非为茧丝为保障，官敢自外非台阳。
社仓之法法本良。义与义仓同备防，听民乐岁自输将。
出陈易新官主张，仓正仓副同劻勷，不假胥隶饱贪狼。
尔诗为民请发棠，欲拨常平相扶匡。试取原书重开眶，理有小异分毫芒。
行当大吏白封疆，仓储为尔谋安康，奏章上达报天阊。
蔡生听之休伥伥，儒生论事贵絜纲。归告尔民无徬徨，方今圣世恩汪洋。
