译文
她回南方去了，现在还没有踏上归途。我独居的小楼枕卧溪畔，夜夜愁听那春水汩汩。明月也无伴，像我一样孤独。春风吹杏花稀疏零落，更使我愁伤春暮。
玉钗在你的头上，斜斜地簪住云髻雾鬟。你裙上绣金的凤凰，仿佛栖息在我心间。真盼这春天又变秋天，请南飞的鸿雁，带去我的书信，带去我千里的思念。
注释
酒泉子：原为唐教坊曲，后用为词牌名。《金奁集》入“高平调”。一般以温庭筠体为正格。全词以四平韵为主，四仄韵两部错叶。
楚女：古代楚地的女子。此指抒情主人公，一个身世飘零的歌舞女伎。
楼：楚女暂栖之所。
稀：一作“飞”。
斜篸（zān）：斜插。篸，通“簪”，此处用作动词。云鬟（huán）：高耸的环形发髻。
金缕凤：用金丝线绣的凤凰图形。
八行书：信札的代称。古代信札每页八行。《后汉书·窦章传》注引马融《与窦伯向书》：“书虽两纸，纸八行，行七字。”

酒泉子·楚女不归创作背景
温庭筠四首《酒泉子》词均以女性为抒情主人公，此词亦莫能外。华钟彦据《荷叶杯·楚女欲归南浦》，认为此词“楚女”指所怀者言（《花间集注》），张撝之认为此说不确。其具体创作时间未得确证。

酒泉子·楚女不归鉴赏
此词起拍二句，言“楚女”飘零在外，寄居于水乡的临河楼宇中。“楼枕小河春水”的“楼”是“楚女”暂栖之所，可推测为一歌楼舞馆，临水构筑。“春水”，点明季节。“枕”字下得别致。
“月孤明”三句写暮春月夜之景而隐含伤春离别之情，说“楚女”自伤身世、月夜难眠。“风又起”，从听觉着笔，表明“楚女”虽然置身床榻而长时间处于不眠状态。“杏花稀”（系“楚女”的想像之辞）虽为景语，但其中亦寓有惜春、伤别之意。月本无所谓孤不孤，但对于欲归不归的楚女来说，它却显得孤独凄清，物象染上了人的主观情感色彩。加之“风又起，杏花稀”，其景象就更凄清，不眠的人儿，心情可想而知。这里既写暮春之景，又寓有自伤身世飘零，自伤老大，自伤离别的情绪。
过片二句写女子服饰，分别从头上玉钗、乌黑的鬓发及衣裙上金线所绣凤鸟图案着笔，一句写她的头饰和美发，一句写她用金缕盘绣成凤鸟图纹的舞裙，对“楚女”的形态进行描写。金玉锦绣的字面，恰好反衬出主人公内心的空虚索寞。“楚女”如此艳美，然而却长期漂零在外，其独居凄怆之情亦自在不言中。于是最后三句要借“八行书”，诉千里相思隔魂梦萦牵之情，恰值月夜闻雁，便欲凭雁足传书，以道相思之意。言作书寄远，并点明题旨。这数句与李商隐“玉珰缄札何由达？万里云罗一雁飞”（《春雨》）异曲同工，虽然明说着欲凭鸿雁寄相思之意，其实隐含的意味却是鸿雁长飞，锦书难托，确有含蓄不尽之情。

温庭筠（约812—866）唐代诗人、词人。本名岐，字飞卿，太原祁（今山西祁县东南）人。富有天才，文思敏捷，每入试，押官韵，八叉手而成八韵，所以也有“温八叉”之称。然恃才不羁，又好讥刺权贵，多犯忌讳，取憎于时，故屡举进士不第，长被贬抑，终生不得志。官终国子助教。精通音律。工诗，与李商隐齐名，时称“温李”。其诗辞藻华丽，秾艳精致，内容多写闺情。其词艺术成就在晚唐诸词人之上，为“花间派”首要词人，对词的发展影响较大。在词史上，与韦庄齐名，并称“温韦”。存词七十余首。后人辑有《温飞卿集》及《金奁集》。
