译文
家住碧云西的一位漂亮姑娘，在出嫁头发还没梳理好，左右双螺没合，双眉就紧收在一起了，马上要离开母亲的怀抱，做人家的新娘，能有桃叶随王献之那样幸福吗？
答案还没有出来，就被一只小船勿勿载走，今天就要到武康前溪去过夜。一路上春光明媚，春意浓烈。渡头的杨柳垂荫，梨花开出人家墙外，嫁娶的心事只有他们两人知道。
注释
少年游：词牌名。此调始见于晏殊《珠玉词》，因词有“长似少年时”句，取以为名。又名“少年游令”“小阑干”“玉腊梅枝”。《乐章集》《张子野词》入“林钟商”，《清真集》分入“黄钟”“商调”。各家句读亦多出入。此词五十二字，前后片各两平韵。
平甫：即张平甫。张鉴字平甫，南宋将领张俊之孙。
双螺：指少女头上的两个螺形发髻，故旧有丫头之称。
双蛾：指美女的两眉。蛾：螺子黛，乃女子涂眉之颜料，其色青黑，或以代眉毛。南朝梁沈约《昭君辞》：“朝发披香殿，夕济汾阴河，于兹怀九逝，自此敛双蛾。”
碧云西：指美人住所。南朝江淹《休上人怨别诗》：“日暮碧云舍，佳人殊未来。”
桃叶：王献之之妾名，其妹名桃根。因王献之有《桃叶歌》而在南京秦淮河上有桃叶渡故址。
扁舟：小船。《史记·货殖列传》：“范蠡既雪会稽之耻，乃喟然而叹曰：‘计然之策七，越用其五而得意。既已施于国，吾欲用之家。’乃乘扁舟浮于江湖。”
前溪：今浙江省武康县，县前有溪流。张平甫在此曾有别墅。
津头：河流的一头，也称渡头。唐王昌龄《送薛大赴安陆》诗：“津头云雨暗湘山，迁客离忧楚地颜。”

少年游·戏平甫创作背景
此词作于姜夔在浙江武康时，是为戏张张鉴（字平甫）纳妾而作。张平甫是姜夔好友，姜夔依张平甫生活十年，“十年相处，情甚骨肉”。

少年游·戏平甫鉴赏
上片是写张平甫所纳小妾别家的情景。“双螺未合，双蛾先敛”，言小妾束妆待发，准备出嫁的嫁头尚未做好，眉头就紧收起来，表明心情有些矜持和悲凉。“家在碧云西”，点出女子家乡幽远。接着“别母情怀，随郎滋味，桃叶渡江时”三句从三个层面来写姑娘的愁源。一是离开母亲的怀抱，二是跟随一个不熟悉的、无感情基础的人生活，三是不确定从自己去后能否有传说中的桃叶与王献之那样生活幸福。王献之爱妾桃叶的典故也映衬出张平甫的身份高雅和小姑娘的柔美可爱。
下片“扁舟载了，匆匆归去，今夜泊前溪”三句，写小姑娘坐上小船被载去张平甫的前溪别墅，一路上春意浓烈，更衬托出小姑娘无心去欣赏春光，自己心已无春情，愁绪满胸。“杨柳津头，梨花墙外，心事两人知。”一路上行经绿杨垂荫的津渡，梨花高出墙外的园林，各自的心绪感想，只有两人知道。结句很有意味。“心事两人知”这样的情景，不能不让人发愁。
姜夔以“桃叶渡江时”句，即点明张平甫纳妾之意，又在说小姑娘自己想是否有桃叶的幸福生活。用“泊前溪”交待张平甫把小姑娘纳去的地方。写“梨花”开出墙外，一是说明张平甫纳妾时间是在春天，二是反衬小姑娘心中已无春意，只有愁绪在心头。“匆匆”二字则体现对小姑娘的不尊重，有强行之意。“扁舟”用得又非常恰当，有偷偷摸摸，不是大张旗鼓之意。开拍就是“双螺未合，双蛾先敛”，很有不情愿，愁绪满心头之状。
姜夔在此词里反映了男尊女卑的社会问题，男的娶妾，女的被迫嫁出。姜夔不一定意识到妇女要解放的道理，但他就在此词中写出了男女不平等的现状。小姑娘有苦有愁不敢言，只留心头，只能表现在眉头紧收。姜夔的笔下描写得细致，把一个大的社会问题，用一场“纳妾”过程揭露得淋漓尽致。或许也是有许多这样“男女不平等”的呼声，给后来“妇女解放”奠定了理论基础。若如此，姜夔此词当是许多“呼声”中的一种，而且是比较早的呼声。

姜夔，南宋文学家、音乐家。人品秀拔，体态清莹，气貌若不胜衣，望之若神仙中人。往来鄂、赣、皖、苏、浙间，与诗人词家杨万里、范成大、辛弃疾等交游。庆元中，曾上书乞正太常雅乐，他少年孤贫，屡试不第，终生未仕，一生转徙江湖，靠卖字和朋友接济为生。他多才多艺，精通音律，能自度曲，其词格律严密。其作品素以空灵含蓄著称，有《白石道人歌曲》等。姜夔对诗词、散文、书法、音乐，无不精善，是继苏轼之后又一难得的艺术全才。
