译文
长年累月对着玉境妆台，都是把自己打扮成时髦的梅花宫妆，已经厌倦得毫无兴趣了。至今还不见心上人回来，极想收到他的书信，又怕那信里报告他在外遇到不测的消息。
自从和他分别以后，我酒也少喝了，而在秋思中流尽了眼泪。我朝朝暮暮都挂念着羁旅在江南的心上人，他去的地方可比“天涯”还要遥啊！
注释
镜台：上面装着镜子的梳妆台。
梅蕊宫妆：喻女子华美妆饰，或喻梅花。
江南信：咏对朋友的思念之情。
楚云：比喻女子秀美的发髻。

朱淑真（约1135~约1180），号幽栖居士，宋代女诗人，亦为唐宋以来留存作品最丰盛的女作家之一。南宋初年时在世，祖籍歙州（治今安徽歙县），《四库全书》中定其为“浙中海宁人”，一说浙江钱塘（今浙江杭州）人。生于仕宦之家。夫为文法小吏，因志趣不合，夫妻不睦，终致其抑郁早逝。又传淑真过世后，父母将其生前文稿付之一炬。其余生平不可考，素无定论。现存《断肠诗集》、《断肠词》传世，为劫后余篇。
