界围岩水帘译文及注释
译文
界围岩和湘江的江畔相汇，青青的山壁，环绕着清澈的江水。
悬挂着的泉水，形成一面鲜明的水帘，排列下流，没有停止的时候。
水帘好比一面音调和谐的玉磬，敲声锵锵，响彻岩谷。
红霞笼罩在岩顶上，使我忽然想象升上天空游览的景况。
奇妙的境界，简直不可形容，即使是神鬼的工力，谅必也难造成。
忽然好像朝见玉皇，只见他的皇冠前面，垂着一排玉串。
昔时屈原被逐南来，他有意依恋神仙之地，不思回国。
如今我幸获新诏释放，开始北归。
在这里任情遨游，固然值得留恋，但我以身许国，必须迅速回朝效力，不容停留。
再来游玩，只有寄托在梦境了，行前站立良久，乘舟离去。
注释
曲：水畔。
粲（càn）：鲜明。《诗·唐风·葛生》： “角枕粲兮，锦衾烂兮。”
罗注：排列下流。
韵磐：声音和谐的磬。
叩：敲击。
凝（nǐ）：比拟。
碧：青绿的美玉。
锵锵：象磬声，比喻水帘声。
冠：笼罩。
凌：升上。
虚：天空。
冕：古代帝薯的帽子。
旒（liú）：冕冠前后悬垂的玉串。
楚臣：指屈原。
仍：依恋。
丹丘：神话中神仙之地。
缧（léi）：拘系犯人的大绳，这里指罪犯。
采真：《庄子·天运》曰，古者谓是采真之游。成玄英疏：“谓是神采真实而无假伪，逍遥任适而随化遨游也。”
淹留：停留。
遗贮：临行前久立。

界围岩水帘创作背景
元和十年（815年）正月，柳宗元因为接到来自长安的皇帝的诏书，于是自永州奉诏赴京，作者心情因为得以返京因此喜悦万分，路过界围岩时，被界围岩的美景所感染，然后又联想到自身的遭遇，于是有感而发，借景而抒情，遂作出此诗，来表达诗人自己欲施展抱负的愉悦心情。

界围岩水帘鉴赏
该诗是一首描述界围岩的风光的诗，全诗突出了界围岩的瀑布风光。其景象气象万千，奇丽无比，想象丰富，感情直抒胸臆。
首先是开头四句，简单勾勒出界围岩的地理特征。“界围汇湘曲“凸显出湘江在这里盘旋不止，”青壁环澄流“则表明了碧水环绕青崖的美景。而后以“悬泉粲成帘，罗注无时休”，重点点出瀑布下注连绵不断，波澜壮阔的特点。
接着则是描写瀑布的飞流之声，”韵磬叩凝碧，锵锵彻岩幽“两句声色俱备，水流声像磬玉相叩在碧潭，其锵锵的清脆之声响彻幽岩，清脆悦耳。斟酌该句，可见字词贴切。如“碧”而谓之“凝”，“凝碧”又冠以“叩”，而叩击碧玉般青石之声乃为“磬”音，此磬之“韵”清远激越，这是多种力量的聚合，其中又极力突出了个“叩”字，从而令人于听觉感受中去领略那瀑布与岩石撞击发出的音响。”丹霞冠其巅，想像凌虚游“，则是描写红色的云霞如冠帽戴在山顶，令人想飞上青天，凌虚游历。
以上八句之景物描写实为佳句，却同时也为铺垫也，目的正是为了引出下方的诗句，以求得产生惊人的艺术效果。
“忽如朝玉皇，天冕垂前旒”。许多名家正是将目光投向此句，这四句“骨力傲岸，撑柱全篇”，”忽如朝玉皇，天冕垂前旒“句正是将水帘比做玉皇的天冕前挂下来的流苏，“体物极工”。又以简单的一句”鬼工谅难求“来凸显出其景物的难以细述的美妙，其比喻贴切，简洁且形象。仔细想来，作者在此之前已作了若干铺垫，先写水帘之整体形貌，继写其成帘罗注之状，次写其叩石如磬般的声响，终写水帘上方云霞环绕之景观，而后才以“忽如”二字，于灵光一闪间将之与玉皇所戴冠冕前下垂的玉串联系起来，惊警动人，让人不禁拍案叫绝。
惊句过后，则是发散想象，思及自身，有感而发。”采真诚眷恋，许国无淹留“，诗人联系了自己的遭遇，遥想当年像楚臣屈原一样被放逐到南方，曾有意要学仙成道。如今诗人却和屈子不可相提并论，如今即将是要回到北方去，皇上的诏书解除了羁绊和拘囚。因此诗人对采真求仙的眷恋，被以身为国的理想抱负所代替。于是以略带怅然的一句”再来寄幽梦，遗贮催行舟“来描写自身。即将返回长安，只好以幽幽的梦境相寄托，行舟既然催促，便唯有乘舟远去。该句虽是带有离别的伤感色彩，然联系诗人背景和句末的语气，仍可清晰看出，诗人大部分心情依旧是愉悦的。
此外，诗人在选词设色上颇费经营，如“青壁“、“澄流”、“粲成帘”、“彻岩幽”、“凝碧”、“丹霞”，可以说是五色杂陈，而读来不觉繁乱，盖因其整体色调倾向于清寒一路，由此形成了气氛肃穆、境界幽寂的诗境。迸一步看，全诗避免偶句，以单句直行，从而产生一种劲气直达的力感。孙月峰评论说：“写景如谢，然多用单语，觉骨力更胜。“（《评点柳柳州集》卷四十二）讲的就是这种情况。

柳宗元（773年－819年），字子厚，唐代河东（今山西运城）人，杰出诗人、哲学家、儒学家乃至成就卓著的政治家，唐宋八大家之一。著名作品有《永州八记》等六百多篇文章，经后人辑为三十卷，名为《柳河东集》。因为他是河东人，人称柳河东，又因终于柳州刺史任上，又称柳柳州。柳宗元与韩愈同为中唐古文运动的领导人物，并称“韩柳”。在中国文化史上，其诗、文成就均极为杰出，可谓一时难分轩轾。
