译文
洞庭春喝得比较晚，洞庭湖的春天也来得晚，旧时相传大概就这样，但确实人间物之绝美者。收拾瑶池的时候，把她从瑶池移到朱栏这边来的，是倾国仙姝。可以透出室外散发阵阵的香味，使黄莺隔帘而语，姑射仙子，玉肌冰骨，洁白如雪，令人神移。月夜下的姿态，怎能不使狄仁杰避让？
酒宴归来，对着寒窗，仿佛记起昨夜乘醉赏花，梅花应该正在开放。犹如楚襄王梦见巫山神女而使宋玉赋高唐一样，久久不能忘怀，不管灯的明亮或者熄灭，如此美好晤面恐难以后再难遇见了，然而多情之人易于伤感，以致为愁而鬓发斑白。犹如听了韩娥的歌声，舜的音乐，萦绕脑际，经久不忘，甚至达到食而不知其味的痴迷境地。
注释
念奴娇：词牌名，又名《酹江月》《大江东去》，双调一百字，前后阕各四仄韵，一韵到底，不甚拘平仄。
洞庭春：又为酒名。这里也指洞庭的春天。
尤物：旧称绝色女子。亦指物之绝美者。
瑶池：神话中称西王母所住的地方。
龙香：指龙涎香。
人杰：当指狄仁杰。
高唐：宋玉有《高唐赋》。
难期：难以实现。
星星发：斑白之发。
绕梁声：即馀音绕梁。
忘味三月：《论语·迷而》： “子在齐闻《韶》，三月不知肉味。”极言《韶》乐之美。

念奴娇·洞庭春晚创作背景
这首词约作于宋光宗绍熙元年（1190年）或二年。作者罢官，一直在带湖家中闲居，春天一个晚上独自饮酒微醉，闻见花香，思念故人，因此写下这首词。

念奴娇·洞庭春晚鉴赏
这首词是咏梅的，主要是用拟人手法描述所咏之物，也是在抒发对佳人的思慕之情。
词开头三句写其美，写其给人的总体印象。刘后村咏梅诗说：“世间尤物难调护，寒怕开迟暖怕飞”（《全芳备祖前集》卷一）作者说他所咏之物“旧传恐是，人间尤物”，使用“尤物”二字，一方面说明它是“物之绝美者”，另一面也暗示出所咏之物为梅。“收拾”二句写其来历。辛弃疾在《瑞鹤仙·赋梅》词中称梅有“瑶池旧约”，而在《念奴娇·题梅》词中又说：“不如归去，阆苑有个人惜”，均说梅同瑶池有密切关系。此处与之同意，言其所咏之物是从瑶池移到朱栏这边来的，是倾国仙姝，进一步暗示他吟咏的是梅。
“透户”三句写其特点。一是如姑射仙子，玉肌冰骨；二是特香，可以透出室外，使黄莺隔帘而语，令人神移。结尾二句言其为花妖。一方面照应“瑶池倾国艳”五字，另一方面写其有迷人的魅力，进一步揭示其无与伦比的美色。
“酒罢”三句追忆昨夜所见。如果说“月妖”二句是写花避人，而过片三句则写人怜花，词的意脉似断而实续。言昨夜晚间，痛饮洞庭春，意欲一睹“月妖真态”，但他避而不见，及归对寒窗，仿佛记起昨夜乘醉赏花。“应是梅花发”，点明所咏之物为梅，使人豁然开朗，醒明了题旨。
“赋了”二句写昨夜赏梅给他留下了深刻而美好的印象，犹如楚襄王梦见巫山神女而使宋玉赋高唐一样，久久不能忘怀，而“不管孤灯明灭。”可见其感情何等专注，而他对梅花之美又是多么神往。
“半面”三句宕开一笔，言如此美好晤面恐难再逢，然而多情之人易于伤感，以致为愁而鬓发斑白。结尾二句写其印象之深刻，犹如听了韩娥的歌声，舜的音乐，萦绕脑际，经久不忘，甚至达到食而不知其味的痴迷境地。
这首词看似以人拟花，其实也很可能又以物拟人，借梅花写其意中人，故词中所咏之物与人若即若离而又不即不离，达到了物人合一的境界，艺术上达到了极高境地。

辛弃疾（1140－1207），南宋词人。原字坦夫，改字幼安，别号稼轩，汉族，历城（今山东济南）人。出生时，中原已为金兵所占。21岁参加抗金义军，不久归南宋。历任湖北、江西、湖南、福建、浙东安抚使等职。一生力主抗金。曾上《美芹十论》与《九议》，条陈战守之策。其词抒写力图恢复国家统一的爱国热情，倾诉壮志难酬的悲愤，对当时执政者的屈辱求和颇多谴责；也有不少吟咏祖国河山的作品。题材广阔又善化用前人典故入词，风格沉雄豪迈又不乏细腻柔媚之处。由于辛弃疾的抗金主张与当政的主和派政见不合，后被弹劾落职，退隐江西带湖。
