译文
记得我们分别那日，折柳相送，依依不舍。都知道从此天各一方，再难相见，那种刻骨的伤感，比风霜雪雨更催人老去。
如今你我远隔天涯，不知何时才能收到你的音讯。马上就要立春，正是连夜裁制春皤准备迎春的日子，你也许没空给我写信吧。我的心系于你，你是否和我一样，也在思念中煎熬，和我一样憔悴？
注释
浣溪沙：唐教坊曲名，因春秋时期人西施浣纱于若耶溪而得名，后用作词牌名，又名“浣溪纱”“小庭花”等。此调有平仄两体。全词分上下两片，上片三句全用韵，下片末二句用韵，过片二句用对偶句的居多。音节明快，句式整齐，易于上口，为婉约派与豪放派多数词人所常用。
记绾（wǎn）：盘绕打结。长条：长的木条，特指柳枝。白居易《青门柳》：“为近都门多送别，长条折尽减春风。”
盈盈：风致姣好的样子。银湾：即银河。自此：一作“从此”。
摧残：此处指伊人的憔悴。
青雀：即青鸟，神话传说中西王母之信使。《艺文类聚》卷九一引旧题班固《汉武故事》：“七月七日，上于承华殿斋，正中，忽有一青鸟从西方来，集殿前。上问东方朔，朔曰：‘此西王母欲来也。’有顷，王母至，有两青鸟如乌，侠侍王母旁。”锦字，信笺。裁锦字，一作“传锦字”。顾复《浣溪沙》：“青鸟不来传锦字，瑶姬何处琐兰芳？忍教魂梦两茫茫。”
玉虫：比喻灯火。宋陆游《燕堂东偏一室夜读书其间戏作》：“油减玉虫暗，灰深红兽低。”玉虫连夜，一作“绿窗前夜”。翦（jiǎn）：或为剪。旙（fān）：或为幡。春幡，旧俗于立春日，或挂幡（春旗）于树，或剪小播戴于头上，以示迎春。
不禁：一作“愁他”。况相关：一作“梦相关”。

浣溪沙·记绾长条欲别难创作背景
从文中可以看出，该词当作于词人和恋人沈宛分别之后一年。康熙二十三年（1684），康熙皇帝南巡结束，词人不得不跟随回京，一年之后因词人怀念沈宛而写下了这首词。

浣溪沙·记绾长条欲别难鉴赏
这首《浣溪沙》为抒写离情别绪的词作。芬芳雅致，又无处不显露出自己的思念关怀。“记绾长条欲别难”，描写昔日分手时的情景，你我在离别之时，杨柳依依，难舍难分。在古代，柳这个意象经常出现在描写离别场景的诗词中，例如“上马不促鞭，反折杨柳枝，碟座吹长笛。愁杀行客儿”、“杨柳含烟灞岸春，年年攀折为行人”、“今宵酒醒何处？杨柳岸，晓风残月”等。历代文人墨客之所以在送别时折柳写柳，是因为“柳”与“留”谐音，因而“折柳”相留，从而表达出情真意切的惜别之情。
“欲别难”写出了古人所处的环境与条件之艰苦，由于交通不便，人们在离别之后，往往是音容杳然。甚至到死也难以再见上一面．因此古人在离别时通常会黯然神伤，难舍难分。
“盈盈自此隔银湾”紧承上句，将自己和恋人比喻成牛郎织女，从今天起我们就要天各一方，中间的距离就如同隔着银河般难以跨越。然而，牛郎和织女还能够在每年的七夕相聚于鹊桥之上。可是自己和恋人这一别很可能就是永别。所以纳兰发出了“便无风雪也摧残”的慨叹。意思是说，这样的煎熬即使是没有无风雪催逼的好时光，也依然是惆怅难耐。
综其上片，虽为写柳，却借景写人，感叹世事时光的无常。
“青雀几时裁锦字”，青雀就是青鸟，相传是西王母的信使。“锦字”是一个典故，出自《晋书·窦滔妻苏氏传》：窦滔在苻坚做秦君主时任秦州刺史，后来被贬官到了流沙县，他的妻子苏氏十分想念他，就织锦为《回文旋图诗》以赠他，后人常用来比喻妻子怀念丈夫。这句表达出词人日日期盼妻子音信到来的急切心情。
“玉虫连夜翦春幡”古代立春之日剪有色罗、绢、纸为长条状小幡，或挂在树梢上，或戴在头上，以示迎春。结合开篇的“记绾长条”我们能够得知，此时词人已经与恋人分开将近一年了，然而信使始终没有带来恋人的书信、排解词人的相思之情，所以他只能幻想远方的恋人正在灯下剪裁着春幡。
但是尾句“不禁辛苦况相关”却让所有美好的愿望都落空了，仿佛让人突然从云端跌落，心绪忧伤彷徨、幽扰萦怀，难以排遣。你是否经受得住离愁别绪之苦，是否能不为海角天涯失落惆怅、忧伤萦怀？
全词精于用典，缠绵凄婉，一往情深。

纳兰性德（1655－1685），满洲人，字容若，号楞伽山人，清代最著名词人之一。其诗词“纳兰词”在清代以至整个中国词坛上都享有很高的声誉，在中国文学史上也占有光采夺目的一席。他生活于满汉融合时期，其贵族家庭兴衰具有关联于王朝国事的典型性。虽侍从帝王，却向往经历平淡。特殊的生活环境背景，加之个人的超逸才华，使其诗词创作呈现出独特的个性和鲜明的艺术风格。流传至今的《木兰花令·拟古决绝词》——“人生若只如初见，何事秋风悲画扇？等闲变却故人心，却道故人心易变。”富于意境，是其众多代表作之一。
