译文
半夜从梦中惊醒。静静地一边细听一边屈指数着漏滴声。床前只有将要燃尽的流泪红烛相伴。暗自引发我无限的离别之情。独自躺在床上到现在已辗转反侧了千馀遍也无法入睡。怎奈独自而眠，任凭数重鸳鸯被也无法感到温暖。
可悔又可叹的是，当初不该轻易分离。到如今独自无聊，正望眼欲穿愁断肠。如此情深意浓如何才能和好如初？纵然确有日后相聚和美的愿望，奈何这片刻的难过，怎么才能够得以马上相见？
注释
⑴安公子：唐教坊曲名，后用为词牌。《乐章集》注“般涉调”、“中吕调”，此词为“般涉调”。双调一百五字，上下片各八句六仄韵。
⑵梦觉：梦醒。干宝《搜神记》：“忽如梦觉，犹在枕旁。”清宵：清净的夜晚。萧统《钟山讲解》：“清宵出望园，诘晨届钟岭。”
⑶银箭：指银饰的标记时刻以计时的漏箭。司马光《宫漏谣》：“铜壶银箭夜何长，杳杳亭亭未遽央。”
⑷啼红：指蜡烛之红泪。
⑸云愁雨恨：指夫妻之欢。
⑹展转：同“辗转”，翻来覆去。《楚辞·刘向》：“忧心展转，愁怫郁兮。”
⑺怎向：犹怎奈，奈何。黄庭坚《转调丑奴儿·得意许多时》：“而今目下，恓惶怎向，日永春迟。”
⑻堪：可以。
⑼不合：不该。许岷《木兰花·小庭日晚花零落》：“当初不合尽饶伊，赢得如今长恨别。”
⑽厌厌：疲倦，精神不倦。刘义庆《世说新语·品藻》：“ 曹蜍李志虽见在，厌厌如九泉下人。”
⑾眼穿肠断：形容思念之切。眼穿，犹言望眼欲穿。韩愈《酒中留上襄阳李相公》：“眼穿常讶双鱼断，耳热何辞数爵频。”肠断，形容极度悲痛。 干宝《搜神记》卷二十：“临川东兴，有人入山，得猿子，便将归。猿母自后逐至家。此人缚猿子於庭中树上，以示之。其母便搏颊向人，欲乞哀状，直谓口不能言耳。此人既不能放，竟击杀之，猿母悲唤，自掷而死。此人破肠视之，寸寸断裂。”
⑿恁地：这样，这般。拚（pàn）：同“拼”，舍弃。
⒀的（dí）有：的确有。于飞：原指比翼双飞，借喻夫妻和睦。
⒁片时：片刻。江总《闺怨篇》：“愿君关山及早度，念妾桃李片时妍。”

安公子·梦觉清宵半创作背景
此词具体创作年份暂不可考。词中言“虽后约、的有于飞愿”，“于飞”一般是比喻夫妻和睦，故此词应为柳永思念妻子之作；词中又说“当初不合轻分散”，可见此词是作于早年与妻子发生矛盾之后南游之作。柳永漂泊在外，于梦中惊醒，忆起娇妻，有感而作下此词。

安公子·梦觉清宵半鉴赏
这是一首以近于俚俗的语言写成的相思之作。与同类题材不同的是，这首词中词人与恋人可能是因了一点小事呕了气，于是二人“轻分手”了。如今，他深悔自己当初的轻率，独自度着难捱的长夜，内心涌起一浪一浪的情感波澜。
柳永抒情往往上片铺叙景物，下片为内心独白。而这首词景语仅“床前残泪烛”一句，余皆情语，则所抒之情倍觉突出、充盈，亦可见此情非由外物触起，实是无时不萦系心中。上片以“梦觉清宵半”开头，先点明时间乃“夜半”，主人公的情状难以再眠。于是以下借“银箭”、“残沿烛”、“鸳被”三种意象写事叙情，三种意象与主人公的行动紧紧联在一起，“银箭”在这里代指古代计时漏壶滴漏的声音，它表示时光在一秒一秒地缓慢行进，此刻，词中的主人公正屈着指头细数这单调的滴滴答答的声音，从而表现出主人公深夜无眠的寂寞无聊。蜡烛已将燃尽，烛泪将残，表示夜已深，只有烛泪“啼红”相伴主人，进一步写出主人公的孤单。“鸳被”本象征男欢女爱，而今，主人公却是“孤眠”，昔日的欢爱自是不堪回首，所以一人在被中“展转千余遍”，任凭它是“数重”，仍觉“不暖”，再次写出词人内心的凄凉。三种意象成为叙事叙情的关键物。在上片中，三种意象又以直接写情写事的句子相串联。首句直写主人公夜半即醒，难以再眠，引出第一个听觉的意象“银箭"；长夜不眠再出现第二个视觉意象“残泪烛”，视觉听觉的双重意象引出“暗惹起、云愁雨恨情何限”的情语，直抒旧日欢情带来而今无限的愁恨。从旧日欢情联及“鸳被”这一意象，于是“展转千余遍”，“孤眠不暖"，写尽孤独寂寞的难耐。
下片直抒其情，先以“堪恨还堪叹”一句总写这一段不了情缘引发的种种情味，然后分写内心的层层情感波澜。后悔“当初不合轻分散”是为一层，此句化用许岷《木兰花·小庭日晚花零落》：“当初不合尽饶伊，赢得如今长恨别。”虽用典，亦写实；“厌厌独自”一人，盼伊人盼得“眼穿肠断”是为二层，前一层不过后悔而已，此时却已经相思成病；由于“眼穿肠断”而想到昔日的“深情蜜意如何拚”是为转折后的一层；再想及当日虽有重聚的“后约”，但毕竟而今“片时难过”，是为再转折后的一层；直至“怎得如今便见”是最后深悔当初又盼今后的最后一层。一层进一层，一浪高一浪，把内心的百转千折细细密密地铺展开来。这种相思虽然说不上有什么价值，但在词中表现得自然真切，很富有生活气息。
生活中，一对相恋的人因为偶然的小事而分手，分手后又后悔当初决定的草率者，并不少见。抛开词中男女主人公的身份地位，词中抒发的情感还是能引起人共鸣的。

柳永，（约987年—约1053年）北宋著名词人，婉约派代表人物。汉族，崇安（今福建武夷山）人，原名三变，字景庄，后改名永，字耆卿，排行第七，又称柳七。宋仁宗朝进士，官至屯田员外郎，故世称柳屯田。他自称“奉旨填词柳三变”，以毕生精力作词，并以“白衣卿相”自诩。其词多描绘城市风光和歌妓生活，尤长于抒写羁旅行役之情，创作慢词独多。铺叙刻画，情景交融，语言通俗，音律谐婉，在当时流传极其广泛，人称“凡有井水饮处，皆能歌柳词”，婉约派最具代表性的人物之一，对宋词的发展有重大影响，代表作 《雨霖铃》《八声甘州》。
