万里飞霜，千林落木，寒艳不招春妒。枫冷吴江，独客又吟愁句。正船舣、流水孤村，似花绕、斜阳归路。甚荒沟、一片凄凉，载情不去载愁去。

译文
秋霜已经降临大地，无数的树林落叶纷纷。为着不招致春花的嫉妒，红叶这时才呈现出冷艳的姿容。冷瑟瑟的枫树，排列在吴淞江畔；我这个孤独的旅人，又吟出了愁苦的诗句。我的船儿正停泊在孤村流水之间：在斜阳映照的归途上，红叶有似烂漫的鲜花，连绵无尽。啊，荒凉的水沟里，一片红叶凄凉地飘流着。为什么柔情蜜意它载不去，只载去烦恼忧愁呢？
长安的人们哟，有谁关心一下这些疲倦的“旅人”？因为怕看见自己衰老的容颜，就一味喝酒，四处漂泊，竞成了这个样子。它徒然把自己打扮得时新漂亮，可是却不能列入洛阳花谱之中。它只能在酒杯前随着旋风飞舞，最后化作无数片碎断的红霞纷纷飞逝。啊，我是多么怀念江南的春天，到处呈现出一片浓绿。我闲适地坐在窗前，倾听着夜雨的飘洒。
注释
绮（qǐ）罗香：词牌名，最早由宋代史达祖用为词牌，双调一百零四字。
春妒（dù）：指春天里群芳为争艳而百相妒。
吴江：即吴淞江，太湖最大的支流，俗名苏州河。
舣（yǐ）：停驻船只。
倦旅：疲倦的旅人，作者自指。
衰（shuāi）颜：憔悴的容颜。
如许：如此。
谩（màn）：徒然。
洛阳花谱：指《洛阳牡丹记》一类的书，洛阳花，指牡丹。
回风：旋风。

绮罗香·红叶创作背景
《绮罗香·红叶》大约作于元武宗至元1290年冬。其时，张炎年四十三岁，为应元政府写经之召而被迫北行。行之大都（今北京），张炎感伤亡国之情顿上心头，遂借眼前之“红叶”抒发其漂浮不定的身世和忠贞爱国的情操。

张炎（1248年－1320年），字叔夏，号玉田，晚年号乐笑翁。祖籍陕西凤翔。六世祖张俊，宋朝著名将领。父张枢，“西湖吟社”重要成员，妙解音律，与著名词人周密相交。张炎是勋贵之后，前半生居于临安，生活优裕，而宋亡以后则家道中落，晚年漂泊落拓。著有《山中白云词》，存词302首。张炎另一重要的贡献在于创作了中国最早的词论专著《词源》，总结整理了宋末雅词一派的主要艺术思想与成就，其中以“清空”，“骚雅”为主要主张。
