苔花如米小，也学牡丹开。
苔鉴赏
苔藓自是低级植物，多寄生于阴暗潮湿之处，可它也有自己的生命本能和生活意向，并不会因为环境恶劣而丧失生发的勇气，诗人能看到这一点并歌而颂之，很有眼光！
「白日不到处」，是如此一个不宜生命成长的地方，可是苔藓却长出绿意来，展现出自己的青春，而这青春从何而来？「恰自来」，嗯，并不从何处来，而是生命力旺盛的苔藓自己创造出来的！它就是凭着坚强的活力，突破环境的重重窒碍，焕发青春的光采。
苔也会开花的，当然，怪可怜的，花如米粒般细小，但难道小的就不是花吗？只要能够开放，结出种子，繁衍后代，便是生命的胜利。所以，「也学牡丹开」，既是谦虚，也是骄傲！对的，苔花如此细小低微，自不能跟国色天香的牡丹相比，可是牡丹是受人玩赏而受悉心栽培的，而苔花却是靠自己生命的力量自强，争得和花一样开放的权利——这世道并非仅为少数天才和英雄而存在的！
这是一首人生励志的小诗。苔虽然在阳光不能照到的地方, 又那么渺小.到了春天,它一样拥有绿色,拥有生命. 花开微小似米, 但却一定要象牡丹一样尽情绽开. 因为在苔的心中,他和牡丹拥有同样的大地也同样头顶广阔的天空. 无名的花，悄然的开着，不引人注目，更无人喝彩。就算这样，它仍然那么执著的开放，认真的把自己最美的瞬间，毫无保留地绽放给了这个世界。 这也是我们生活中最可取的一种佳境。

袁枚（1716－1797）清代诗人、散文家。字子才，号简斋，晚年自号仓山居士、随园主人、随园老人。汉族，钱塘（今浙江杭州）人。乾隆四年进士，历任溧水、江宁等县知县，有政绩，四十岁即告归。在江宁小仓山下筑筑随园，吟咏其中。广收诗弟子，女弟子尤众。袁枚是乾嘉时期代表诗人之一，与赵翼、蒋士铨合称“乾隆三大家”。
