译文
黄金的花蕊开绽在红色如玉的花房，恰好放在美人的柔细的手里。朦胧的月亮月光淡淡，时不时吹起微风来卷起美人的衣袖。
柔和清淡的风中，美女似有醉意般酣然入睡，很熟很香，悄悄的，高耸的发髻垂到两只耳朵下了。谢谢春姑娘的巧夺天工，不像是花般的红艳，更像是美人肌肤透出的红。
注释
减字木兰花：词牌名，唐教坊曲，又名减兰、木兰香、天下乐令、玉楼春、偷声木兰花、木兰花慢。该词牌为双调，上下阕各四句，共四十四字。
玉房：花的子房的美称。
金蕊：金色的蕊。白居易《牡丹芳》 诗：黄金蕊绽红玉房。
玉人：容貌美丽的少妇。《诗经》：有女如玉。
纤手：女子柔细的手。
微微弄袖风：轻轻地拂袖的风。
温香熟美：在柔和清淡的香风中，睡得很熟很美。
醉慢：醉后松弛。
云鬟（huán）：形容妇女高耸的环形发髻。
春工：春季造化万物之工。
玉红：形容美女白里透红的肤色。

减字木兰花·花创作背景
《减字木兰花·花》约作于宋神宗元丰元年（1078年）春。当时，词人到徐州任职。章质夫寄惠《崔徽真》，词人作“玉钗半脱云垂耳”诗以答之。李仲谋家有周防《名画记》，画背面欠伸内人，极精，词人作《续丽人行》 。以为意之不尽，词人又作本词。

减字木兰花·花鉴赏
这是北宋文学家苏轼创作的一首词，运用了以物代人的手法，在花人之间反复掂掇，造成情意绵绵的意境，构思新颖纤巧，独具艺术风采，形象的写出了玉人之美。
词的一开头就来赞美花：开头两句写花的子房，花的金蕊，玉房金蕊，从正面以文彩艳丽的笔法描绘了花妖艳迷人的姿色，“黄金蕊绽红玉房”只有牡丹才能配的上“玉房金蕊”的称号，可见花的婀娜多姿。牡丹结成一束，恰好地插在美女柔细的手里。“金”花与“玉”人相映成趣，柔花与纤手，“宜”字贯串，构成了睡女侧睡拈花图，美丽极了。
“淡月朦胧。更有微微弄袖风。”特写美女的朦胧美。“淡月”本是“朦胧”的，它好像柔纱，罩在美女的肌体上，更是玲珑剔透的。加仁轻轻的微风，拂弄着美女的衣袖，多么柔情。一个“弄”字，多么富有人情味。“月”与“风”给予美女的情爱多么深。静动结合，美上加美。通过对环境的衬托，带给人一种玄妙之美，在如此美妙月色中，漂亮的人和漂亮的花相互衬映，月亮将人和花照得洁白无瑕，花偎依着人的手，享受着微风，烘云托月的写出了花美，人美的一幅美好场景。
下片，写睡女的熟睡美。第一、二句写清香送爽，美女酣然沉睡。在柔和滴淡的香气中，美女不知不觉地如同醉汉进人梦乡，很熟很香。那高耸的发髻慢慢地垂到两耳之下了。“温香”与“熟美”两个偏正词组的结合，恰好生动描绘了睡美人的妩媚神态。那个“醉”也选用精当。除“醉”睡外，再也不会有别的熟睡的情态呈现。
最后一句，“多谢春工。不是花红是玉红。”最后两句点明本词的题旨“不是花红是玉红”。这位朦胧的白中透红肌体的美女，不是花红胜过花红，还是得“多谢春工’。没有造化万物的春工造花、造月、造风、造美境，哪会有“温香熟美”的睡美人呢！
短短四十四个字，花即是人，人即是花，把人面花光浑融一片，婉约柔美，春风满纸，花光满眼，人面迷离，容情于景，本是效仿李白《清平调词》所做，但是刻画之高法却不比李白差，首咏人，次咏花，借的美丽衬托出人的美丽。

苏轼（1037－1101），北宋文学家、书画家、美食家。字子瞻，号东坡居士。汉族，四川人，葬于颍昌（今河南省平顶山市郏县）。一生仕途坎坷，学识渊博，天资极高，诗文书画皆精。其文汪洋恣肆，明白畅达，与欧阳修并称欧苏，为“唐宋八大家”之一；诗清新豪健，善用夸张、比喻，艺术表现独具风格，与黄庭坚并称苏黄；词开豪放一派，对后世有巨大影响，与辛弃疾并称苏辛；书法擅长行书、楷书，能自创新意，用笔丰腴跌宕，有天真烂漫之趣，与黄庭坚、米芾、蔡襄并称宋四家；画学文同，论画主张神似，提倡“士人画”。著有《苏东坡全集》和《东坡乐府》等。
