三月正当三十日，占得，春光毕竟共春归。只有成阴并结子，都是，而今但愿著花迟。
定风波·为有书来与我期译文及注释
译文
期盼有书信来与我期约，所以见到香草和兰草还有杜若，就禁不住起相思之意。昨天夜里梦到了友人，道一声珍重。到了暮春时节，而且东风就要把美人吹送到自己身边来了，虽然相见遥遥无期，相思却绵绵不断。
此时正当三月三十日，春景不常，很快春天就要离去了。虽然以后将是遍地的绿荫和累累的果实，可如今我却盼望春天再长一些，花期再长一些。
注释
定风波：唐教坊曲，后用为词牌名。以五代欧阳炯所作为正格。双调六十二字，平韵仄韵互用。又名《定风流》、《定风波令》、《醉琼枝》。
与我期：言对方有信来与我相约。
兰杜：兰草和杜若，均为香草。
相思：彼此想念。后多指男女相悦而无法接近所引起的想念。
蝶衣：喻轻盈的花瓣。
毕竟：到底，终归。
而今：如今。 唐张安世《苦别》诗：“向前不信别离苦，而今自到别离处。”
但愿：只愿，只希望。

定风波·为有书来与我期创作背景
庄棫出身于盐商之家，早年为部主事，光绪十四年中举人，后家道中落。咸丰五年（1855）游京师，赴试不第。一生从未入仕，沦落穷愁，潦倒不堪。伴随他的除清贫以外，还有恋爱和婚姻的不幸。这首词便是这种不幸的记录，但却无法明了其具体内容。
