译文
秋夜，深闺弥漫着无聊和空寂，她的思绪犹如远处的更漏声声，嘀嗒地响着，时断时续。夜风吹动筛帐的罗纹如水，帐上的绣鸳鸯似在窃窃私语，烛光轻摇着它孤独的影子，熏炉的香烟正悄悄地散去。
心中在把心上的人回忆，他正漫游天涯浪荡无迹，无处得知他的音信，无处去把他寻觅。只听得帘外雨潇潇，如不尽的相思泪，落在芭蕉叶上滴滴。
注释
寂寥：寂寞空虚。
漏迢迢（tiáo）：更漏之声悠长。古时以漏壶滴水计时。
鸳帷：绣着鸳鸯的帷帐。罗幌：丝罗床帐。麝烟：焚麝香发出的烟。烟，一作“香”。
玉郎：古代女子对丈夫的爱称。
潇潇：风雨声，一作“萧萧”。《诗经·郑风·风雨》：“风雨潇潇，鸡鸣胶胶。既见君子，云胡不廖。”

杨柳枝·秋夜香闺思寂寥鉴赏
这是又一阕抒写独处孤居、思念情人的怨苦情绪的小令。
上片从时间的延续上来写孤独感、思念苦。“漏迢迢”是明写在寂寥的秋夜坐守香闺，只觉夜长迢迢，愁苦绵绵。后两句是暗喻的写法。“鸳帷”应是成双作对共枕同寐之处，可是现今单身只影坐守空房，徒让“麝烟销”。这麝香之烟练绕，本应熏欢情合抱的枕衾的，眼下徒然销尽散去在时间的流逝里；红烛之光原当在情侣携手共入鸳帐时熄灭了的，可是目前挑灯夜候，烛泪低垂，孤影摇晃。处处都暗写孤独，暗写长夜难度。下片从空间上写“无寻处”，那个“玉郎”不知到哪儿去寻花问柳了。空间的阻隔愈大，孤独的寂寥感也就愈深，时间的延续度也愈长，何况现今是“无寻处”，茫茫不知所去。词的结句非常含蓄有致。“更闻帘外雨潇潇，滴芭蕉”，从听觉角度来体现孤独的思念苦，来表现心境。雨打芭蕉，正是滴滴在心头，声声见苦情。同时，满耳雨打芭蕉声，正见出一种寂寥感。此时别无他声是令人更觉寂寥，而雨打芭蕉之声更比无声使人哀苦了。愈静愈孤寂，愈觉思念苦，雨点声声愈增静寂感，心境愈显豁地写出。此词意在言外，以物以景传情，显得委婉缠绵。比起《诉衷情》质朴中略见辛辣味的表现，这个女性似较前一个柔软温顺，尽管她们的痴情是一般的深。
此词的成功之处在于艺术表现的颇具匠心。这首词突破了花间词醉心描摹外形身态的陋习，着意渲染主人公耳闻目见的景物，来突出“她”的心理感受。在这里，作者不在是一个轻薄无聊的旁观者，而是设身处地的在为主人公抒发哀怨，读来也便使人觉得有身临其境之感，无疑，这就很自然增强了艺术感染力。
除此而外，这首词在结构安排上也颇有引人注目之处。全词按上下片分别从时间和空间两方面来着力刻画，成功地为闺怨主题提供了一个典型环境。上片的秋夜、更漏、麝香烛光，都刻画了时间的漫长难捱；而下片所写的“玉郎”出外游荡不知去向，又把女主人公的愁思置于一个广阔的空间里。这种“上穷碧落下黄泉”与“此恨绵绵无绝期”的组合，往往会有很浅的感染力。
