译文
女子不光彩是由于她夫婿的轻视，客人感到羞愧是由于主人轻贱他。
我的遭遇和这些人一样，只好低头徘徊，和尊高的人见面感到羞愧。
您不是青铜的镜子，为什么只是看表面呢？
不要因为我衣服上有尘土就不以为我的心像白练那样纯洁高尚。
当您的人生处在荣华富贵的高峰时，也不要对地位低的人感到厌倦。
您请看太阳升落，时光飞驰，和弦上的箭一去不返有什么区别呢？
注释
羞：不光彩，不体面。
薄：轻视，刻薄。
耻：感到羞愧。
贱：轻贱，不重视。
众流：指前文的“羞女”和“耻客”。
低回：也作“低徊”或“低廻”，徘徊。
练：白色的丝绢，比喻人心清白高洁。
白日驰：本文指时光飞快，暗示人生的荣华富贵转瞬即逝，并不是永恒的。白日，太阳，阳光。《南史 苏侃传》：青关望断，白日西斜。

李益(约750—约830)， 唐代诗人，字君虞，祖籍凉州姑臧（今甘肃武威市凉州区），后迁河南郑州。大历四年(769)进士，初任郑县尉，久不得升迁，建中四年(783)登书判拔萃科。因仕途失意，后弃官在燕赵一带漫游。以边塞诗作名世，擅长绝句，尤其工于七绝。
