译文
停下酒杯不举起，停下歌声不要唱，等候那圆圆银月跃出东海。不知从哪里飘来一片云，做成了这么大、通天的大障碍。
龙须拈断，星眼瞪裂，只恨宝剑剑锋不快。我要猛地一挥斩断紫云的腰，仔细观看嫦娥仙女长得是什么体态。
注释
银蟾（chán）：指月亮。古传说月中有蟾蜍，所以称月为蟾。韩琦诗：“西园宴集偏宜夜，坐看圆蟾过丽谯。”
许：如此，这样。
髯虬（rán qiú）：卷曲如虬的须髯。虬，传说中龙的一种。
星眸（móu）：像星一样明亮的眸子，泛指明亮的眼睛。
嫦娥：此处代指月亮。

鹊桥仙·待月创作背景
中秋赏月，有浮云飘来，完颜亮忽发奇想而赋此词。这首词表现出完颜亮排除一切障碍以实现自己野心的豪荡粗犷性格。

鹊桥仙·待月鉴赏
此词采用白描的手法，以直抒胸臆的方式，通过对“待月”的过程与当时心理变化的描绘，刻画出作者不可一世的霸主形象，形象地传达了他横厉恣肆的胸怀。
上片起处采用苏轼《采桑子·多情多感仍多病》和李白《北风行》两首词中“停杯”、“停歌”的句式，描绘了作者等待月亮升起时的焦灼、急迫心态。而第二句的“不知何处片云来，做许大、通天障碍”则点出了由于“片云遮月”，使得“待月”的愿望落空，由此造成作者的愤怒之感油然而生，下片则具体描绘作者的愤怒与奋争。上下片用因果关系串联，使之衔接紧密，行文颇具内在的逻辑张力。
下片起句“髯虬捻断，星眸睁裂”，极尽其夸张能事，用两个过激的动作表现，衬托出作者当时心情的起伏不平，描绘了一个“怒发冲冠”的愤怒形象。而“唯恨”两字，又直白地道出了作者内心强烈的愤懑，语气咄咄逼人，一副不达目的誓不罢休的架势，使读者自然而然地跟随着词句，想象出人物当时的情景，如身临其境，从而很好地完成了人物形象的立体化塑造。而最末“一挥截断紫云腰”句，尽显其英勇豪迈气概，一股气吞山河的雄霸之气跃然纸上。
综观全篇，作者以自己待月心情的从渴望到失望，再转而为愤怒的过程为经，以时间的变化线索为纬，交织成一幅“霸主待月”的图景，“由小见大”，烘托出作者的雄谋大志，其势锐不可当。
这首词的显著特色，在于铲尽浮词，直抒本色。就语言来说，它语语本色、自然，不着色相，不落言诠，毫无词中惯见的那种文绉绉、酸溜溜的陈腐气，更无充斥词坛的那种绮罗香泽的脂粉气。就格调来说，它豪横骏爽，剑拔弩张，桀骜之气溢于辞表，与旖旎作态、扑朔迷离的所谓传统格调是绝缘的。这一点，在词的下片表现得尤为突出。所以，《艺苑雌黄》说它“俚而实豪”，完颜亮的词，现存四首，大都有这种横空出世的气概。这首词的直抒本色，还表现在它自然地、真实地写出了作者自己的真面目、真性情。清人沈祥龙《论词随笔》说：“古诗云：‘识曲听其真。’真者，性情也。性情不可强，观稼轩词知为豪杰，观白石词知为才人。其真处有自然流出者。词品之高低，当于此辨之。”完颜亮的这首词，也同样是真性情的流露，观其词则知其为强横而进取的霸星。他“为人傈急，多猜忌，残忍任数”，“颇知书，好为诗词，语出辄崛强慭慭，有不为人下之意”。他在为藩王时，就久怀谋位之心，曾有题扇诗曰“大柄若在手，清风满天下”，又有述怀诗曰“等待一朝头角就，撼摇霹雳震山河”，终以利剑弑熙宗完颜亶而自立。得志之后，又蓄谋侵宋。《鹤林玉露》说：柳永《望海潮》咏钱塘之词流播，“金主亮闻之，欣然有慕于‘三秋桂子、十里荷花’，遂起投鞭渡江之志。”他曾使画工图临安（杭州）城邑及吴山、西湖之胜，而于吴山绝顶“貌己之状，策马而立”，并题诗其上，有“提兵百万西湖上，立马吴山第一峰”句。这首《鹊桥仙》，均与同格调、同气魄，自然而真实地流露了作者的强横而进取的真形象、真性情。“停杯”、“停歌”云云，已给人以箭在弦上引而待发之感，隐含一股威慑之力；“虬髯”“捻”而至“断”，“星眸”“睁”而至“裂”，其沉雄剽悍的形象性格已和盘托出；“唯恨剑锋不快”，益见其横狠；“一挥”两句，更如骄马弄环，千里之志，一望而知。文学作品，贵真实，贵自然。这在词中却是比较难以做到的，而完颜亮的这首《鹊桥仙》，却能兼而有之，这正是它的艺术生命力之所在。

（1122—1161）金朝皇帝，女真完颜部人，本名迪古乃，字元功，后改名亮。辽王完颜宗干第二子。皇统九年，弑熙宗自立，当年改元天德，后改贞元、正隆。即位后以励官守，务农时等七事诏中外。迁都于燕，称中都，又改汴梁为南京。正隆末大举攻宋，败于采石，东至瓜洲，兵变被杀。在位十二年。世宗时降为海陵郡王，谥号炀，后再降为海陵庶人。
