袅袅檐树动，好风西南来。
红缸霏微灭，碧幌飘飖开。

译文
檐边树木微微摆动，原是怡人凉风自西南而来。
灯盏随之轻晃，青烟腾起，火光微灭。碧色帷幔亦缓缓飘摇而开。
我敞开衣襟，凉气充盈周身，心觉舒畅无比。轻拂竹席，未见有一丝纤尘沾染。
只愿恼人的酷暑褪去，不惜任由光阴渐催人老。
河水入秋便逐渐显得清浅起来，月亮要等到午夜才会徘徊于水天之间。
这时不论是起身行走或是坐卧，身体和心都倍感舒适。
我心有所怀的（你）啊，身处在浚都那旌旗围绕的楼台上呢。
虽并未隔着大海那般遥远，可要相见却太难。
蝉鸣迎来了节气的变更，替我送信给你的飞雁却还迟迟未归。
你日渐位高权重，我却日渐衰老颓唐。
再无法趁秋风起时，月色之下你我共同举杯畅谈人生了。

袅袅：形容细长柔软的东西随风摆动。
红缸：亦作“红釭”。灯盏的别称。
碧幌；绿色的帏幔。
披襟：敝开衣襟。
簟：竹席。
裴回：亦作“裵回”。彷徨。徘徊不进貌。

白居易（772年－846年），字乐天，号香山居士，又号醉吟先生，祖籍太原，到其曾祖父时迁居下邽，生于河南新郑。是唐代伟大的现实主义诗人，唐代三大诗人之一。白居易与元稹共同倡导新乐府运动，世称“元白”，与刘禹锡并称“刘白”。白居易的诗歌题材广泛，形式多样，语言平易通俗，有“诗魔”和“诗王”之称。官至翰林学士、左赞善大夫。公元846年，白居易在洛阳逝世，葬于香山。有《白氏长庆集》传世，代表诗作有《长恨歌》、《卖炭翁》、《琵琶行》等。
