译文
为官之人哪能有几日得闲的，世间的事务什么时候才能处理得完。你的容颜不会常在，我的鬓发也无法再变黑。
榴花酒满杯香美，金缕曲真多情，姑且享尽眼前的欢娱，不要叹惜时光流逝得这么快。
注释
官身：为官之人。
世事：人世间的事务。
足：满足，此处引申为“终了”之意。
红：脸色红润，借指年轻。
重（chóng）绿：再绿。
榴花：指榴花酒。
盏（zhǎn）：杯。
金缕：曲名，指杜秋娘《金缕衣》。
多情：富于感情。
眼中欢：比喻眼前或心中所期望的欢愉事情。促：急促，过得快。

生查子·官身几日闲创作背景
该词大概作于北宋熙宁八年（1075年）左右，此时晏几道在官场怀才不遇，昔日父亲晏殊的门生也不记旧情，在官场上不给于助力，宦途失意，于是作此词。

生查子·官身几日闲鉴赏
这是一首劝人摆脱机务、及时休闲寻欢的小词，感情基调哀而不伤，平静而明快。
上片先由“官身”难闲、“世事”无尽说起，通俗直叙的语言，从自身的经历说起表述了做官的事多不得自由，引发共鸣。接着以“君貌”、“我鬓”，从人最容易代表衰老的部分写起，紧扣前文，申明青春不驻，人生易老，两对句各从两面着墨，下字亦颇工稳，白描自然，感情真挚，上片通过自身所体会结合所看到的，使得对于青春的感慨更深、更细、更微妙。
下片则一洗上片的感叹，提出了解决方法，顿时使得词句基调变得轻快明亮，开始叙说解决上述烦恼的办法，便言“榴花酒”之清香四溢、“金缕曲”之多情动人，用眼前事物的美好彻底消除了官机务缠身的烦恼，也为下句的感叹做好了理论铺垫。赏心乐事难得，应当及时赏花听曲，开怀享受。简单的四句，却写出了作者对于生活的参悟以及对于繁忙生活的解忧和看法，末句以尽欢、莫叹相劝，希望对方放下负担、享受生活。
该词化用诗歌句法，构思新颖曲折，语言节奏明快，字词简单平稳，通俗自然，情致含蓄深婉。

晏几道（1030-1106，一说1038—1110 ，一说1038-1112），男，汉族，字叔原，号小山，著名词人，抚州临川文港沙河（今属江西省南昌市进贤县）人。晏殊第七子。历任颍昌府许田镇监、乾宁军通判、开封府判官等。性孤傲，晚年家境中落。词风哀感缠绵、清壮顿挫。一般讲到北宋词人时，称晏殊为大晏，称晏几道为小晏。《雪浪斋日记》云：“晏叔原工小词，不愧六朝宫掖体。”如《鹧鸪天》中的“舞低杨柳楼心月，歌尽桃花扇底风”等等词句，备受人们的赞赏。
