译文
在水边，春天归来了，绿纱窗轻轻的吟唱着长留春在的歌。春在何处？落花纷飞，莺燕无语。
情意绵远的抒发我内心的情怀，却只见树木在朦胧的烟中。日下西楼，独剩下帘外的细雨，怕是只能在梦中去寻找春的踪迹。
注释
点绛唇：词牌名。此调因梁江淹《咏美人春游》诗中有“白雪凝琼貌，明珠点绛唇”句而取名。双调四十一字。上阕四句，从第二句起用三仄韵；下阕五句，亦从第二句起用四仄韵。《词律》认为，上阕第二句第一字宜用去声，“作平则不起调”。但亦有作平起调者。又有《点樱桃》、《十八香》、《南浦月》、《沙头雨》、《寻瑶草》、《万年春》等异名。
沙际：沙洲或沙滩边。
绿窗：绿色纱窗。指女子居室。
渺渺（miǎo）：悠远的样子。
吟怀：抒发情怀。
漠漠：迷蒙的样子。
暮：傍晚，太阳落山的时候。
点绛唇·长安中作创作背景
元好问十九岁时，随叔父官陇城（今甘肃天水），因参加秋试，在长安住过八九个月；二十一岁时扶叔父丧由陇城还乡里，其后未再到秦中。此词大约作于公元1208年（金章宗泰和八年戊辰），是年元好问十九岁，他面对长安春色，有感而发。诗中曰“二十”，盖举其成数。

点绛唇·长安中作鉴赏
词中没有着意渲染残春景色，而是旁处落笔，侧笔取妍。
起句“沙际春归”，语似直露，而画面见于文字之外。之所以说说春从水边归去，北宋诗人苏轼的《春江晚景》中所说：“竹外桃花三两枝，春江水暖鸭先知。”也就是说，春来之时，柳树发芽，杨柳青青，而春归之时，柳絮飘飞，随水而去。真有唐代诗人韩愈在《晚春》中说的“草树知春不久归，百般红紫斗芳菲”，最终却是“花落有意随水流，流水无心恋落花”。这里就表现出了残春时节凋落的花瓣随着流水飘去的景象。故吟咏“沙际春归”四个字，乃觉无字处有意，空白处皆是画。次句“绿窗犹唱留春住”，诗思奇妙。不说自己思春、恋春，却说旁人春归而不知，犹自痴情挽留。词牌有《留春令》，绿窗中人或是歌妓之流。或许不必定有此人此唱，不过是作者设置的一种境界，借说绿窗少女的歌声以表达自己惜春的情怀。这是词体幽微宛转处，作者掌握和运用得很成功。“问春何处，花落莺无语”二句，熔铸前人词中意象，而翻进一层。欧阳修《蝶恋花》：“泪眼问花花不语，乱红飞过秋千去”。王安国的《清平乐》：“留春不住，费尽莺儿语”。黄庭坚《清平乐》：“春无踪迹谁知，除非问取黄鹂。百啭无人能解，因风飞过蔷薇”。上述诸作，或问花，或问鸟，不论是落花还是莺啼，总还有点春天的影子。在这首词中，不仅是问而无答，乃更无可问讯。“花落莺无语”，春光老尽，连点声息都没有了，更能体现“春意已尽，无可寻觅”的意境。
词人对春天是无限的眷恋的，也是没有放弃才对春的追求。所以，下片词人接着写道：“渺渺吟怀，漠漠烟中树。”“渺渺”即悠远的样子。意思是说，满腹情怀远望寻觅，满眼所见是雾气沉沉中隐隐约约的树林。这里，词人化用了南北朝时期著名诗人谢眺《游东田诗》中“远树暖阡阡，生烟纷漠漠”的诗意。词人极目远望，不见春之踪影，只见雾气沉沉中的树影，心中无限惆怅。于是，词人写道：“西楼暮，一帘疏雨，梦里寻春去。”“西楼”也许就是在西边的一座楼，也许就是一座楼的名称，在诗词中经常用到，也许就是一种情怀的表现。比如，李清照的《一剪梅》中的“云中谁寄锦书来，雁字回时月满西楼”。李煜的《相见欢》中写道的“无言独上西楼，月如钩，寂寞梧桐深院锁清秋。剪不断，理还乱，是离愁，别是一般滋味在心头”。他们都有用了“西楼”，但各自有不同的情怀。元好问这里的意思是说，寻春无果，只有在日暮上西楼，在隔帘听雨中求得好梦，在梦中去寻觅了心中的春意。特别是最后“梦里寻春去”一句很有用意的。梦境本来是虚幻的，可词人偏偏要到梦中寻觅。从这里，我们不但感觉到词人对寻春的执着与对春的深情，而且也能感受到词人即使伤春，也没有那么失望，那么感伤，毕竟是在“长安中作”，比起“悲秋”来，感觉还是要温和多了。结句“梦里寻春去”，语淡情深。现实之春确已逝去，而词人不作绝望颓唐之想，还要到梦境中去追寻。这种对美好事物的执着追求，也正反映了词人年轻健康的心理情绪。
该词在艺术特色上，语浅意深，意蕴深厚。侧面落笔，尽情抒写。以梦结尾，提升境界。

元好问，字裕之，号遗山，太原秀容（今山西忻州）人；系出北魏鲜卑族拓跋氏，元好问过继叔父元格；七岁能诗，十四岁从学郝天挺，六载而业成；兴定五年（1221）进士，不就选；正大元年（1224 ），中博学宏词科，授儒林郎，充国史院编修，历镇平、南阳、内乡县令。八年（1231）秋，受诏入都，除尚书省掾、左司都事，转员外郎；金亡不仕，元宪宗七年卒于获鹿寓舍；工诗文，在金元之际颇负重望；诗词风格沉郁，并多伤时感事之作。其《论诗》绝句三十首在中国文学批评史上颇有地位；作有《遗山集》又名《遗山先生文集》，编有《中州集》。
