译文
丝丝细雨如同微尘，云彩染着水汽，吴王宫殿里，美人在溪流中采集香草。百花在微寒的东风中摇曳，仿佛在将寒气闪避。花朵凋谢最是令人怜惜，燕子也学人偎红倚翠，轻轻依偎着花朵。
人们都说疾病会像满月减损成残月一般，慢慢减弱，无奈这倦怠的感觉，正如春天浓郁的慵懒气息。可否将蝴蝶留在花丛里呢？这成双飞舞的蝴蝶仿佛在嘲笑梁上燕巢空荡，笑燕子没有像它们一样双宿双栖。
注释
临江仙：唐教坊曲，后用作词牌，为双调小令。格律俱为平韵格，字数有五十二字、五十四字、五十八字、五十九字、六十字、六十二字六种。本词为六十字。
“丝雨”二句：意谓细雨蒙蒙，云中夹带着水气，吴宫里残花散落了满地。嫣香：娇艳芳香的花。
“酷怜”二句：此言最让人怜惜的是那娇美的宫花极易败落，故而连小燕子也学着人的样子怜惜起花来，它紧紧依偎在花下。偎红：紧贴着红花。
恹恹（yān）：精神委靡不振貌。
“不成”二句：意谓燕子成双成对地飞去了，反而笑那屋宇梁上空空。杏梁：用文杏木制成的屋梁。宋晏殊《采桑子》：“燕子双双，依旧衔泥入杏梁。”

该词具体创作年份未知，大概写于暮春时节，此时的纳兰不仅因逝去的春光而心生感慨，身体也正抱恙而忍受着折磨，愁病交加，以致于他竟生出了兴亡之叹，于是写下了这首词。

临江仙·丝雨如尘云著水鉴赏
此词抒写暮春时节，愁病交加，万般无奈的情景。词中用“吴宫”、“杏梁”等语皆作泛指，其中深含了兴亡之悲，似有深藏的隐忧，空灵含蕴而有味可咀。
空中的愁云仿佛氤氲着水汽，蒙蒙细雨飘洒过后．吴宫里的残花散落了一地。娇美的宫花最经不得风雨，这满地落英让人怜惜不已，以致于连过路的飞燕也学着人的样子紧紧依偎在了花下。
景物之愁加剧了纳兰的苦闷，“人说病宜随月减”，但他却自叹道“恹恹却与春同”，他的疾病并未随着时间的流逝而好转，反而如这暮春一样萎靡颓丧。拖着病体出得门来，只见蝴蝶飞舞流连，却迟迟不肯离开花丛，但梁上的燕子早已成双成对地飞走了。忍不住对着那空落落的屋梁苦笑一下。
词中“吴宫”、“杏粱”等出于前人辞赋的词语中隐隐藏着莫大的忧虑，其时正是康熙盛世，对时代的兴亡忧患显然不会是纳兰词作的主题，惜时伤春又加身世感伤才更贴合纳兰的风格。他甄选的不过都是些平淡如水的词汇，然而这些词语却偏偏在他的指尖化成一段旋律——为心弦所演奏，曲曲萦绕于耳，终久不绝。
纳兰确实是个风流的才子。但绝对不是个潇洒的文人。他的词，愁心漫溢，句句读来令人心伤，这一首满含兴亡之感的《临江乡》便是佐证。

纳兰性德（1655－1685），满洲人，字容若，号楞伽山人，清代最著名词人之一。其诗词“纳兰词”在清代以至整个中国词坛上都享有很高的声誉，在中国文学史上也占有光采夺目的一席。他生活于满汉融合时期，其贵族家庭兴衰具有关联于王朝国事的典型性。虽侍从帝王，却向往经历平淡。特殊的生活环境背景，加之个人的超逸才华，使其诗词创作呈现出独特的个性和鲜明的艺术风格。流传至今的《木兰花令·拟古决绝词》——“人生若只如初见，何事秋风悲画扇？等闲变却故人心，却道故人心易变。”富于意境，是其众多代表作之一。
