译文
新绿的林园，雨后红花芳香光照眼。绮丽华贵的酒筵．流莺飞上飞下追欢，大路上闲闲地紧随香车轮转，马蹄得意将春郊芳草踏遍。
唉，金色的年华似春梦般短，悠悠往事逝如烟，茫茫无觅百遍寻思无限。烟雨朦胧小楼掩，青山断续时隐现。闲愁人哪，曲曲栏杆都倚遍。
注释
蝶恋花：词牌名。又名《凤栖梧》《鹊踏枝》等，双调六十字，上下片各五句四仄韵。
翠苑：种满绿树的园林。
红芳：花草。
绮（qǐ）席：华美的筵席。
流莺：翻飞的黄莺。
紫陌：东西方向的路为陌，用紫色土铺成的路故称作紫陌。这里用来泛指都市郊外的大路。
金坜辘：用金属镶嵌的车。枥辘：车行走的声音，代指车。金：用金属装饰的华美之车。
一觉年华：如梦般的岁月。
寻思（xín sī）：思虑。
人闲倚遍阑干曲：是“闲人遍倚曲阑干”的倒装，谓闲来无事，将屈曲的栏杆都倚遍了。

蝶恋花创作背景
此词感怀伤春，当是中年后的作品。从词的结构分析，这首词很有可能作于作者任滁州知州期间，是在回忆十年前在洛阳时快乐无忧的日子。

蝶恋花鉴赏
上片首先描绘的是一片大好春光。阳光普照下，触目所及处，园林草木青翠，红花满地。啼声清脆的流莺在人们春游时布置的华丽筵席周围飞来飞去。在这样生机勃勃的大好春光中，词中的抒情主人公出场了。他悠闲地跟随着那些华美的车子，他骑着马儿，尽兴游遍京城郊外大好春光。这位意气丰发的游春少年形象，有可能是天圣九年（1030）进士及第后的词人的写照。
下片中涉及的季节仍然是春天，但与上片好景致、好心情不一样，写的是迟暮之人年华如梦、世事沧桑之感。他一觉醒来后，感受到的是年华有如春梦一般的短促，而且此时，悠悠往事、千般思绪一齐涌上心头。词人把往事想象的空间留给了读者，而以“烟雨满楼山断续”，即主人公此时内心种种愁思外化而形成的景致进一步展现他心情的沉郁。意思就是说主人公此时的心情就如满楼烟雨般凄冷迷乱。词作结尾处描绘的主人公百无聊赖地闲倚栏杆的身影，与下片词情沉重的氛围相映照，再进一步表现主人公的愁绪无法排遣。
这首词采用对比的手法写不同时期的两种春景、两种心情，对比中透露出深沉的人生感慨，颇具深婉之致。

欧阳修（1007－1072），字永叔，号醉翁，晚号“六一居士”。汉族，吉州永丰（今江西省永丰县）人，因吉州原属庐陵郡，以“庐陵欧阳修”自居。谥号文忠，世称欧阳文忠公。北宋政治家、文学家、史学家，与韩愈、柳宗元、王安石、苏洵、苏轼、苏辙、曾巩合称“唐宋八大家”。后人又将其与韩愈、柳宗元和苏轼合称“千古文章四大家”。
