译文
花丛下面夜莺一声鸣唱，花丛上面斜挂着如钩般弯弯的半个月亮。要问月下那鸟儿在何处啼叫?看，前方花枝颤动落英如同雪花飘飘。东风吹来已把去年的愁绪一扫而光，催动着丁香花蕾朵朵绽放。金色的蝴蝶双双飞舞在小亭旁，惊动了花儿的安静，红花似雨洒落在地上。
注释
飞英：飞舞在空中的落花。
东风吹尽去年愁，解放丁香结：意指东风吹散了丁香花满腹的愁闷，如今它可以尽情绽放了。
好事近·花底一声莺鉴赏
这首咏春词写出了从月落乌啼到天明之后一段时间春色之美。上片写天明之前花鸟的萌动。这时候曙色朦胧，但报晓的黄莺已经在花底发出了第一声啼叫。月落乌啼之处，晓风阵阵，飞英如雪，以花儿凋谢开放为标志，自然界旧的在不断离去，新的纷至沓来，新的一天开始了。下片写白天的浩荡春景，是一派生机勃勃的景象。前二句写东风劲吹，吹尽了冬天的寒冷，也为人们吹尽了去年的哀愁；它吹绽了丁香花蕾，像是为花儿解开了郁结的愁思。结尾二句写双双金蝴蝶翩翩飞舞，惊动园中小亭那儿落红如雨，尤显出春之热闹。全片描写精工细致，富有图画之美。

刘翰，字武子（一说武之），长沙（今属湖南）人，光宗绍熙中前后在世。曾为高宗宪圣吴皇后侄吴益子琚门客，有诗词投呈张孝祥、范成大。久客临安，迄以布衣终身。今存《小山集》一卷。事见《两宋名贤小集》卷三○五、《沅湘耆旧集》前编卷二三小传。 刘翰诗，以毛晋汲古阁影宋《六十家集》本为底本。校以影印文渊阁《四库全书·两宋名贤小集》（简称名贤集），与新辑集外断句合编为一卷。刘翰做诗追随“四灵”，王渔洋《香祖笔记》对其评价不高。
