译文
邯郸城南的游侠子，自夸生长在邯郸里。
经过千场放纵赌博后家里仍富，几处报仇身不死。
家中的歌声笑语终日闹纷纷，门外的高车大马聚集如云屯。
不知该向谁披肝沥胆，只教人想念那平原君。
君不见如今的交情如纸薄，黄金用尽了还你个疏索。
为此感叹辞别往日的朋友，眼前的时事功名也无所追求。
且与年轻人共饮美酒，往来射猎来到西山头。
注释
邯郸：今河北省邯郸市，战国时期为赵国的首都。该地任侠之风盛行。少年行：乐府旧题，属杂曲歌辞。
游侠子：富于任侠之气的年轻人。他们重义轻利，乐于助人。
自矜：自夸，自恃。里：故里。
千场：很多的场所。纵博：放纵赌博，豪赌。几度：几次，几回。报仇：报复仇怨。
歌笑：歌声和笑声。日：每日。纷纷：多而杂乱，接二连三地。
车马：豪车骏马。常如云：一作“如云屯”，如云之聚集，形容盛多。
肝胆：肝和胆的总称。比喻真挚的心意和勇气血性。
平原君：这里指战国时的赵国公子赵胜。因被封于平原（位于今山东省），故有此称呼，后为赵国宰相。其人讲信义，重视人才，曾养食客数千人。
即今：一作“今人”，泛指如今的人们。交态：人与人相交往所表现的态度、交情。薄：浅薄。
疏索：冷淡、疏远。
西山：位于邯郸西部的山；一说是指邯郸西北部的马
以兹：以此。感叹：一作“感激”，真心感谢。辞旧游：辞去旧日的交游。
时事：现时的事情，适应潮流的事物。无所求：无所追求。
且与：暂且和。
往来：来来去去。射猎：射箭狩猎。西山：指邯郸西北的马服山。

邯郸少年行创作背景
这首诗当作于开元二十一年（733），诗人北游燕赵，从蓟北（今河北省北部）回乡的途中经邯郸时所作。

邯郸少年行鉴赏
邯郸为战国时赵国都城，即今河北邯郸市。《少年行》为乐府旧题，属杂曲歌辞。
以上六句渲染“游侠子”豪放的生活，其势如铜丸走板，风驰电掣。“未知肝胆向谁是，令人却忆平原君”二句，气势陡转，诗笔转入对“邯郸少年”内心的揭示。他们对于纵性任侠的生活远远感到不满足，而希望凭自己的侠肝义胆为国建功立业，施展自己的宏图抱负。不料，这美好的愿望却得不到现实社会的理解，反而遭到排斥和压制。使之不由得神游千古，怀念“倾以待士”，使之能纵横捭阖，为国排难的平原君。这两句，充盈着诗人知音难觅的怅惆，功业难成的愤懑以及对现实的强烈针砭和对历史的深沉反思！同时，感情的激流也由前面的飞逸转入沉实，增强了诗歌的顿挫之力。
前半部分诗人借“游侠子”的遭遇来抒发自己沉沦不遇的感慨，后半部分则以直抒胸臆的议论，将抑郁不平之情进一步表达出来。一开始以“君不见”当头唱起，提示人们注意：现在世人只按“黄金”的多少来决定双方“交态”的厚薄。没有“黄金”，关系就自然“疏索”（即疏散之意）了。诗人的感情又由前面的沉实转入激愤，正因他“感叹”之深，对世态炎凉体会之切，因此对于“旧游”和“时事”厌恶之极，这样就有力地逼出最后两句：“且与少年饮美酒，往来射猎西山头！”这样的结尾看似旷达，与世“无求”，实则正话反说，充满慷慨之情，愤懑之气，“宕出远神”。它不仅以“痛饮美酒”，“射猎西山”（西山即邯郸西北的马服山）的豪举，刻画出“游侠子”的英武雄迈之态。而且以一虚字“且”冠在句首，更表现出他睥睨尘世、待时而动的高旷情怀和耿介刚强的性格特征。这样的曲终高奏，宛若奇峰突起，意蕴深远，令人回味无穷。因此赵熙批曰：“大力收束，何其健举！”（《唐百家诗选手批本》）
高适在诗中以“邯郸少年”（即诗中之“游侠子”）自况，借描写他们放荡不羁的生活，和世态炎凉的际遇，抒发了自己壮志难酬的激愤之情。诗歌写得豪宕激昂，“气骨”铮铮，充分体现了高适“以气取篇”的特点。《新唐书·高适传》评其诗“以气质自高”。所谓“气质”，即作者的感情极为慷慨激越。此诗借“邯郸少年”抒发自己强烈的感情，既有豪气干云的雄壮之歌，又有直抒胸臆的激越之声；既有深沉低徊的慨叹，又有故作旷达的曲终高奏。这种雄壮与低徊，炽热与深沉的错综交织，有力地突出了“邯郸少年”心灵深处的追求和失望、欢乐与痛苦的复杂感情，从而深刻揭示出“世态”的“浮薄”。一般说来，七言与五言相比，更难写得雄赡遒劲，但高适的七言却写得“兀敖奇横”，这正是“气质自高”使然。
与这种抑扬起伏的感情抒发相适应，此诗在句式上整散相间，以散为主，用韵上平仄交替，富于变化。如开始两句散，接着两句整，后面又回到散。开始四句用低韵仄声，中间四句用文韵平声，“君不见”两句句句用韵，为药韵仄声，末尾两句再回到尤韵平声。这样，随着整散的变化和韵脚的转换，不仅与感情的抑扬起伏相适应，而且形式上也有整齐对称之美，纵横飞动之妙，节奏鲜明，音调优美。文情声情，丝丝入扣。这些特点，直接影响了后来长篇七古的发展。
