译文
窗外吹来五更的寒风，这寒冷的造成正是一天中最冷的时刻。独自孤眠，秋夜冰冷的被子多出了一半，我拥着被子坐起来，望着窗外的残月回忆往昔。
怎么能使清泪不长流至结冰呢，最好的办法就是不把离别的事放在心上。这因离别而感伤的心绪，还是留到天亮以后再去想吧。
注释
好事近：词牌名。又名《钓船笛》，《张子野词》入“仙吕宫”。双调四十五字，前后片各两仄韵，以入声韵为宜。两结句皆上一、下四句法。
秋衾（qīn）：秋夜冰凉的被子。
争教：怎教，怎么才能。
好处：欢合情浓之时。
拟把：打算把。

好事近·帘外五更风创作背景
康熙十六年（1677）卢氏因难产不幸去世，卢氏死后，痴情的纳兰就陷入无尽的哀伤之中。为了表达自己与妻子乍离之后的伤感而写下这首词。

好事近·帘外五更风鉴赏
该篇是纳兰的一首简短小词。上片写相思，似乎是在同忆中找寻往昔的欢乐，又像是在怀念妻子，在她离去后产生了伤感之情，词意扑朔迷离，耐人寻味，有着重情重义之感，也有迷惘哀伤的纠结。
开头便直言了生命的不可承受之重，“帘外五更风，消受晓寒时节”。竹帘之外传来五更的寒风，在这清秋寒冷的早晨实在让人难以消受。这首词写与妻子乍离之后的伤感，写得如此直白动人，只怕是纳兰的内心真的是无法再忍耐下去了，爱情对于他来说是精神的一种很大寄托，但当他所依赖的爱情一份一份都离他而去的时候，再坚强的人，只怕也会难以承受了。
词一开始便颇有自怨多情之意。不过语言虽然直白粗浅，但是却真挚感人。越是直白简洁，便越是入情至深。而后接下去便说道：“刚剩秋衾一半，拥透帘残月。”独自孤眠，秋夜冷冰冰的被子因多出了一半，而晓寒难耐，于是拥被对着帘外的残月。夜半孤枕难眠，只能望着明月去回忆往昔，但可惜，月亮似乎也知道他的心事，窗外所对的只是一轮残月而已。
欢乐和幸福都是短暂的，世上没有什么事情是长长久久、永不变更的、纳兰而今只剩下独自一人，孤独无依，现在对着窗外的残月，更是加重了这种孤独感，纳兰自然是情难以自禁，泪流满面。
故而下片便写道“争教清泪不成冰”，自然承接了上片的情绪，没有什么过渡，也没有任何的引申，依然是简单的描述，将心情的糟糕写得入木三分。直白的描述有时起到的作用不可小觑，纳兰将人生苦短、情短苦多的情感纠葛写得让人无法不去动情。
想起往日的种种，而今自己独自一人赏月，只能清泪长流，空白凝噎，这句中的“成冰”更是写出清冷孤寂的意味了。泪流至结成冰，这该是怎样的一种哀愁，纳兰的孤独和寂寞，在卢氏离去后便更加明显，但凡卢氏之前用过的衣物、住过的楼阁，对纳兰来说，都是一种折磨。
所以，纳兰才会说“好处便轻别。拟把伤离情绪，待晓寒重说”、纳兰自己也知道，面对这样铺天盖地的哀伤，最好的方法就是不把离别之事放在心上，这离愁别绪待到天亮以后再去想吧。
如此哀伤，似真非真，似幻非幻，极富浪漫色彩。在词的最后，纳兰从回忆中抽身，回归现实，他知道现今已经是人去楼空，物是人非了，与其在回忆中痛苦挣扎，不如转身睡去，让梦境和睡眠赶走孤寂和寂寞。
全词写痛苦写得淋漓尽致，既然相爱的人总有一天会因为生老病死种种原因而分开，那当初为何还要用情那么深，以至于到如今还难以消解遗忘。这恐怕是所有有情人的困惑和疑问，纳兰在这首词的最后做了解答。既然相爱，就去爱，一旦当爱不起的时候，便是再后悔也无用了。

纳兰性德（1655－1685），满洲人，字容若，号楞伽山人，清代最著名词人之一。其诗词“纳兰词”在清代以至整个中国词坛上都享有很高的声誉，在中国文学史上也占有光采夺目的一席。他生活于满汉融合时期，其贵族家庭兴衰具有关联于王朝国事的典型性。虽侍从帝王，却向往经历平淡。特殊的生活环境背景，加之个人的超逸才华，使其诗词创作呈现出独特的个性和鲜明的艺术风格。流传至今的《木兰花令·拟古决绝词》——“人生若只如初见，何事秋风悲画扇？等闲变却故人心，却道故人心易变。”富于意境，是其众多代表作之一。
