月光照耀山林一片秋色，青翠山峦多么安谧幽静。
身居禅房感受万物变化，一人独坐不由打开窗门。
风响泉鸣夜声显得嘈杂，月下的寒露使夜光清冷。
向您忘机的人多多致意，尘世烦忧愧未清理干净。
注释
晖上人：大云寺僧人圆晖。赞宁《高僧传》称他“精研性相，善达诸宗”。陈子昂中进士之前与之结识。
皎皎：洁白貌；清白貌。形容月光。《诗经·小雅·白驹》：“皎皎白驹，在彼空谷。”
微微：隐约，淡远，幽静的样子。 南朝梁沈约《刘真人东山还》诗：“连峰竟无已，积翠远微微。”
禅居：僧人居住修行的处所。指寺院。
轩屏：窗户和门屏。
杂：一作“绝”。
月露：月光下的露滴。宵光：夜光；月光。
忘机：消除机巧之心。常用以指甘于淡泊，与世无争。忘机人，是赞美晖上人与世无争、忘却巧诈的高洁情怀。

酬晖上人秋夜山亭有赠创作背景
这首诗是为酬答晖上人的赠诗而作，当作于陈子昂中进士之前，陈子昂中进士的时间是唐高宗开耀二年（682年）。

酬晖上人秋夜山亭有赠鉴赏
晖上人的赠诗内容不明，从此诗意推测应是与秋夜禅坐有关。因此，这首回赠诗开头从山林的幽静写起。“皎皎白林秋，微微翠山静”，秋夜的山林禅院充满了幽寂的禅意。此诗中间两联写景咏物。颔联“禅居感物变，独坐开轩屏”，住在这僧房里感到了景色的变化和季令的推移，由于心绪无比烦乱，不禁打开门扇，独坐沉思幻想起来。这里点出了晖上人的禅悟境界。禅定使人心情平静，从而智慧现前。颈联“风泉夜声杂，月露宵光冷”，描绘出一片清幽冷寂的境界，极具诗情画意，也颇具禅意。最后“多谢忘机人，尘忧未能整”二句，感叹世人不能如晖上人般忘却机心，饱受尘世烦扰，实在是无奈又可怜，表达了诗人对晖上人入景清明那种境界的追求。
此诗结构极其精巧。起承转合，自然从容。写景写人，浑融一体。陈子昂还有一首诗《同王员外雨后登开元寺南楼因酬晖上人独坐山亭有赠》，内容与此诗相关，可以互相参照。

陈子昂（约公元661～公元702），唐代文学家，初唐诗文革新人物之一。字伯玉，汉族，梓州射洪(今属四川)人。因曾任右拾遗，后世称为陈拾遗。光宅进士，历仕武则天朝麟台正字、右拾遗。解职归乡后受人所害，忧愤而死。其存诗共100多首，其中最有代表性的是《感遇》诗38首，《蓟丘览古赠卢居士藏用》7首和《登幽州台歌》。
