远远地远远地离开巫峡，一再瞻望着走下章华台。
过尽了巴国的山山水水，荆门在濛濛烟雾中敞开。
城邑分布在苍茫田野外，树林在白云深处被截断。
今天我狂傲高歌的行客，谁知竟会走进楚天中来。
注释
荆门：山名。《水经·江水注》卷三十四说：“江水又东历荆门、虎牙之间。荆门在南，上合下开，山南；有门像虎牙在北；此二山，楚之西塞也。”《清统志》说：“湖北荆州府：荆门山在宜都县西北五十里，与虎牙山相对。”
遥遥：形容距离远。《左传·昭公二十五年》：“鸲鹆之巢，远哉遥遥。”巫峡：长江三峡之一。一称大峡。西起四川省巫山县大溪，东至湖北省巴东县官渡口。因巫山得名。两岸绝壁，船行极险。
望望：瞻望貌；依恋貌。《礼记·问丧》：“其往送也，望望然，汲汲然，如有追而弗及也。”郑玄注：“望望，瞻顾之貌也。”章台：即章华台。春秋时楚国离宫。《左传·昭公七年》：“及即位，为章台之宫，纳亡人以实之。”杜预注：“章台，南郡华容县。”
巴国：周姬姓国，子爵，封于巴，即今四川巴县。汉末刘璋又更永宁名巴郡，固陵名巴东，安汉名巴西，总称三巴。
烟雾：泛指烟、气、云、雾等。南朝宋鲍照《吴兴黄浦亭庾中郎别》诗：“连山眇烟雾，长波迥难依。”
隈（wēi）：山水尽头或曲深处。“白云隈”，即天尽头。
狂歌客：春秋时期楚国人陆通，字接舆，是位隐士，平时“躬耕以食”，佯狂避世不仕。孔子来到楚国，他唱着“凤兮”之歌讥讽孔子，所以被人们称为楚狂接舆。后常用为典，亦用为狂士的通称。

度荆门望楚创作背景
这首《度荆门望楚》是陈子昂年轻时期的作品，当是调露（唐高宗年号，679—680）年间陈子昂初次出川应试途中入楚时所作。

度荆门望楚鉴赏
这首《度荆门望楚》洋溢着年轻的诗人对楚地风光的新鲜感受。
荆门，由于地势险要，历来是兵家必争之地，著名的吴蜀彝陵之战就曾发生在这里，自古有“荆楚西门”、“荆门十二碚”之称，也是诗人出川，乘流而下的必经之地。这一带，水势湍急，山势险峻，郭景纯《江赋》说：“虎牙桀竖以屹卒，荆门阙竦而盘薄。圆渊九回以悬腾，湓流雷呴而电激。”由此可见荆门山景观之胜。
首联两句，是作者对自己行程的交代。诗首句“遥遥去巫峡”，“遥”远也，“遥遥”，远之又远。从梓州出发，已经远远地离开了巫峡，巫峡居三峡之中，西起四川巫山县大宁河口，东抵湖北巴东县渡口，全长九十里。过官渡口，至秭国，即“楚子熊绎之始国，而屈原之多里也。”因此陈子昂诗中说：“望望下章台”，“望”，远看，“望望”，一再瞻看。诗人以两组叠字生动地表现他此时心情，巫峡已相去遥遥，家乡更远隔重山。初离故乡，乍入楚境，急切地要饱览楚国风光，因此望之又望。“下”，写出了长江水势，从李白诗句“千里江陵一日还”就不难理解“下”字的意义和力量。“章台”，《左传·昭公七年》：“楚子城章华之台。”楚之章华台在今湖北监利县西北离湖上，也是陈子昂必经之地。“章华台”表明已入楚境。
颔联，作者进一步描写眼前所历之景。“巴国山川尽，荆门烟雾开”两句分承起首对句。诗中说巴楚相连，巴国山川尽处，也指已入楚境。《水经注》谓：“自三峡七百里中，两岸连山，略无阙处，重岩叠嶂，隐天蔽日，自非亭午夜分，不见曦月。”舟行三峡之中，山峦相连，峡中云水之气，如烟如雾。过四陵峡，出南津关，度荆门，烟寒雾霁，天宽地阔，别具一番情趣。
颈联两句，诗人更具体地状写楚境胜地。“城分苍野外，树断白云隈”两句，对“烟雾开”三字，作具体形象的描绘。城邑分畛域于苍野，可见人烟稠密，城邑不孤；树木断苍郁于白云，足见远树连天，碧野无际。诗人极目纵览，楚天辽阔，气象开阔舒展。因此诗人兴奋地、情不自禁地要歌唱起来：“今日狂歌客，谁知入楚来！”这里，作者以楚狂接舆自比，直抒胸臆。春秋人陆通，字接舆，见时局动荡，便佯狂不仕，被时人称为楚狂。他曾在《凤兮歌》中，以“往者不可谏，来者犹可追”来讽刺孔子，并拒绝与孔子交谈。陈子昂引以自比，充分表达了他傲世的激昂之气。
此诗笔法细腻，结构完整，由于采用寓情于景的手法，又有含而不露的特点。由此读者可以比较全面地窥见诗人丰富的个性与多方面的艺术才能。

陈子昂（约公元661～公元702），唐代文学家，初唐诗文革新人物之一。字伯玉，汉族，梓州射洪(今属四川)人。因曾任右拾遗，后世称为陈拾遗。光宅进士，历仕武则天朝麟台正字、右拾遗。解职归乡后受人所害，忧愤而死。其存诗共100多首，其中最有代表性的是《感遇》诗38首，《蓟丘览古赠卢居士藏用》7首和《登幽州台歌》。
