从军行二首鉴赏
这组诗共两首，第一首诗表达了一位投笔从戎多年的老战士因功业志向难酬而产生的一时懊悔之情。前八句主要写傍晚边塞的荒凉景象，写得情景交融，凄凉孤寂。最后，诗人借用典故，抒发了功业难成，歧路彷徨的矛盾心情。“悔”虽是一时激愤之语，但细细体味，亦在情理之中，传达出更多的辛酸与无奈。
第二首诗主要描写的是边塞征战中的思归之苦。诗人用凝重的色彩描绘了战争的惨烈与悲壮及边塞萧索荒凉的风光景物，在景物描写中寄寓了长年戍边征战的将士们的思乡情结，写得苍劲旷远，意蕴深长。语言的锤炼，更是炉火纯青，在一系列极意铺陈之后于篇末点出戍卒的思归之情，读来更为撕心裂肺，凄怆感人。

王昌龄 (698— 756），字少伯，河东晋阳（今山西太原）人。盛唐著名边塞诗人，后人誉为“七绝圣手”。早年贫贱，困于农耕，年近不惑，始中进士。初任秘书省校书郎，又中博学宏辞，授汜水尉，因事贬岭南。与李白、高适、王维、王之涣、岑参等交厚。开元末返长安，改授江宁丞。被谤谪龙标尉。安史乱起，为刺史闾丘所杀。其诗以七绝见长，尤以登第之前赴西北边塞所作边塞诗最著，有“诗家夫子王江宁”之誉（亦有“诗家天子王江宁”的说法）。
