送婆罗门鉴赏
婆罗门系梵语，意译为净行、净裔。印度早期奴隶制时代四个种姓中最高级，自称梵天后裔，世袭祭司贵族。此处以之称印度僧人。在中国有法显、道希、义净、玄奘这样的华夏高僧前往西域、印度取经，也有竺法兰、佛图澄、鸠摩罗什、真谛等西域、印度高僧前来汉地传法。唐代佛教盛行，东西方宗教文化交流频繁，故此在中国各地，深目卷发之“胡僧”并不鲜见，他们往往与华僧结为知交，互相学习，共同修持，清江与婆罗门僧，也是这种情况。这首对婆罗门僧的送别诗，言简意赅，让人回味无穷。

会稽(今浙江绍兴)人。诗僧。幼出家，代宗大历初至杭州华严寺，师华严宗僧人守真。归越州开元寺后，又从昙一学《四分律》。大历八年(773)至南阳从慧忠习禅观。大历、贞元间以能诗闻名于江南，与诗人皎然齐名，时称会稽二清。与当时诗人交往频繁。晚年住襄州辨觉寺，约卒于宪宗元和间。《宋高僧传》卷十五有传，另参《唐才子传》卷三。其诗多送别赠答及行旅抒怀之作。《全唐诗》存诗1卷。
