劳思光（1927—2012），生于陕西西安，本名荣玮，字仲琼，号韦斋，祖籍湖南长沙，当代汉语学术界最具影响力的哲学家之一，台湾中央研究院院士。 1946年入读北京大学哲学系，1949年转赴台湾，1952年于台湾大学哲学系毕业，先后在美国哈佛大学及普林斯顿大学从事研究工作。1994年起出任台湾华梵大学哲学系讲座教授。劳思光学贯中西，著作极丰，无论文、史、哲学，乃至金石考证等方面，皆有论述，其中尤以1980年出版的《新编中国哲学史》，出版以后被港台大专院校广泛采用为指定教材。2012年10月21日在台北逝世，享年85岁。
