王敏政，字九经。奉天人，汉军正黄旗。由监察御史外转兴泉道。清康熙四十三年（1704）移分巡台厦道。待人仁厚，尤加惠原住民，严禁通事、社商之剥削、滥派。遇岁荒歉，极力为民申请赈恤，百姓赖以全生。康熙四十九年（1710）秩满，补广东雷琼道。不久因病卒，民建祠以崇祀之。
