《放言五首·其五》鉴赏
原文
泰山不要欺毫末，颜子无心羡老彭。
松树千年终是朽，槿花一日自为荣。
何须恋世常忧死，亦莫嫌身漫厌生。
生去死来都是幻，幻人哀乐系何情。
赏析
新陈代谢是宇宙的根本规律，是不以人的意志为转移的。“松树千年终是朽，槿花一日自为荣”，艺术地说明了这一道理。自然界是如此，人生亦概莫例外，有生必有死，所以人们应该“何须恋世常忧死，亦莫嫌身漫厌生”。因为有生有死，才符合世界发展的规律。正确的人生态度应该是：应当多考虑如何在自己的有生之年，为国家民族做出应有的贡献；果如是，则虽死犹生，死而无憾。

白居易（772年－846年），字乐天，号香山居士，又号醉吟先生，祖籍太原，到其曾祖父时迁居下邽，生于河南新郑。是唐代伟大的现实主义诗人，唐代三大诗人之一。白居易与元稹共同倡导新乐府运动，世称“元白”，与刘禹锡并称“刘白”。白居易的诗歌题材广泛，形式多样，语言平易通俗，有“诗魔”和“诗王”之称。官至翰林学士、左赞善大夫。公元846年，白居易在洛阳逝世，葬于香山。有《白氏长庆集》传世，代表诗作有《长恨歌》、《卖炭翁》、《琵琶行》等。
