元符庚辰岁，孟冬十二日。任子丞大宗，碌碌奉朝籍。
圣主访落初，听言劳日昃。谏路员有阙，求人恐不及。
谁谓方遴选，邂逅首疏逖。诏旨忽中授，闻命旦夕惕。
不是忧不合，爱君忧失职。既忧亦复喜，不是贪禄秩。
平生慕古人，素愿或可毕。精神倍疏瀹，激昂登文石。
青云开九天，清光亲咫尺。每见情益交，肝胆尽剖析。
敬承丁宁训，重许以忠直。自喜千载遇，奋身遑他恤。
志欲收主威，力先排巨室。切齿愤钦永，刻意望夔稷。
不数千羊皮，岂让一狐腋。勤勤履霜戒，不复虑不密。
问夜欲自劳，百疏意何益。哀哉爱君心，不能当众嫉。
投湘为独醒，得罪因怀璧。尚赖天德广，阅岁已再谪。
仇人意未厌，穷荒必投斥。转海仅万里，艰危备经历。
有时遭飓风，天地如抹漆。雪浪山崩颓，轰豗飞霹雳。
扁舟甚桔槔，俯仰颠倒立。双樯捲欲折，绳断水蘸席。
鲸鳄口垂涎，喷咤烟雨集。万怪竞周章，腥臊助嘘吸。
平生仗忠信，安敢保瞬息。寅缘脱鱼腹，岛屿稍登陟。
天气郁欲流，土色焦成赤。草木蒸氛雾，亭午日未出。
荒径少人行，窸窣走虺蜴。居民傍溪浒，横崖户百十。
矮屋尽棚栏，臭秽如圈枥。家家啖菜粥，杂米无十一。
小鱼与细虾，相尚珍鼎食。鸟言纷嘲哳，卉服坌蒙羃。
颜色尽黄肿，太半抱瘴疾。其风贪以淫，其俗拙以僻。
殆非人间世，宜尔太荒阒。我生本匹夫，赋性自真率。
雅有江海志，仕宦特牵迫。一日偶遭际，用舍何敢必。
但思忠邪分，于国系休戚。周嫠不恤纬，我意何穷极。
漆女倚门啸，我情第堙郁。呜呼谋身者，所宜念阴骘。

任伯雨（约1047——1119），字德翁，眉州眉山（今属四川眉山市）人。孜子。神宗元丰五年（1082）进士（清嘉庆《四川通志》卷一二二），调清江主簿，知雍丘县。哲宗元符三年（1100），召为大宗正丞，旋擢左正言（《鹤山集》卷六○《跋任谏议伯雨帖》）。徽宗初政，条疏章惇、蔡卞罪状，章、蔡贬官。居谏省半载，大臣畏其多言，寻出知虢州。崇宁元年（1102），以党事编管通州（同上书），徙昌化军、道州。宣和初卒，年七十三。淳熙十二年（1185年），追谥“忠敏”。
