江城郁郁春草长，悠悠汉水浮青光。杂英飞尽空昼景，
绿杨重阴官舍静。此时醉客纵横书，公言可荐承明庐。
青天诏下宠光至，颁籍金闺征石渠。秭归山路烟岚隔，
山木幽深晚花拆。涧底红光夺火燃，摇风扇毒愁行客。
杜鹃啼咽花亦殷，声悲绝艳连空山。斜阳瞥映浅深树，
云雨翻迷崖谷间。山鸡锦质矜毛羽，透竹穿萝命俦侣。
乔木幽谿上下同，雄雌不惑飞栖处。望秦峰回过商颜，
浪叠云堆万簇山。行尽杳冥青嶂外，九重钟漏紫霄间。
元和列侍明光殿，谏草初焚市朝变。北阙趋承半隙尘，
南梁笑客皆飞霰。追思感叹却昏迷，霜鬓愁吟到晓鸡。
故箧岁深开断简，秋堂月曙掩遗题。呜呜晓角霞辉粲，
抚剑当应一长叹。刍狗无由学圣贤，空持感激终昏旦。

李绅（772—846）汉族，亳州（今属安徽）人，生于乌程（今浙江湖州），长于润州无锡（今属江苏）。字公垂。27岁考中进士，补国子助教。与元稹、白居易交游甚密，他一生最闪光的部分在于诗歌，他是在文学史上产生过巨大影响的新乐府运动的参与者。作有《乐府新题》20首，已佚。著有《悯农》诗两首：“锄禾日当午，汗滴禾下土，谁知盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦。”脍灸人口，妇孺皆知，千古传诵。《全唐诗》存其诗四卷。
