开梅山，开梅山，梅山万仞摩星躔。扪萝鸟道十步九曲折，时有僵木横崖巅。
肩摩直下视南岳，回首蜀道犹平川。人家迤逦见板屋，火耕硗多畬田。
穿堂之鼓堂壁悬，两头击鼓歌声传。长藤酌酒跪而饮，何物爽口盐为先。
白巾裹髻衣错结，野花山果青垂肩。如今丁口渐繁息，世界虽异如桃源。
熙宁天子圣虑远，命将传檄令开边。给牛贷种使开恳，植桑种稻输缗钱。
不持寸刃得地一千里，王道荡荡尧为天。大开庠序明礼教，抚柔新俗威无专。
小臣作诗备雅乐，梅山之崖诗可镌。此诗可勒不可泯，颂声千古长潺潺。

（1035—1106）建州浦城人，寓居苏州，字子厚。仁宗嘉祐四年进士。神宗熙宁初王安石秉政，擢为编修三司条例官。察访荆湖，用兵溪洞，拓境数百里，置沅州。元丰二年参知政事。坐事罢知蔡州，徙陈、定二州。哲宗即位，高太后听政，除知枢密院事。与司马光力辩免役法不可废，为刘挚、苏轼等所劾，黜知汝州。哲宗亲政，起为尚书左仆射兼门下侍郎，引用蔡卞、蔡京等，倡“绍述”之说，尽复青苗、免役诸法。排挤元祐党人，报复仇怨，株连甚众。又反对还西夏故地，断绝岁赐，战争重兴。哲宗死，力阻议立徽宗。及徽宗立，累贬舒州团练副使、睦州居住，徙越州、湖州。
