见之目明，气和如春，犹据妙峰顶时平等示人。望之心折，面冷如铁，犹坐莲峰堂时大默而说。
奔走龙象，鞭斥风霆。不约而绳，不令而行。宜其谈笑兴起东庵正脉，廓清末流之辙。
至于灵机绝唱，不堕常调，莫妙乎庚峰定穴者也。

释广闻（一一八九～一二六三），赐名佛智，号偃溪，俗姓林，侯官（今福建福州）人。年十五从智隆于宛陵光孝寺。十八受具戒。八年，住育王山广利禅寺。十一年，住净慈报恩光孝禅寺。宝祐二年（一二五四），住景德灵隐禅寺。四年，住径山兴圣万寿禅寺。景定四年卒，年七十五。为南岳下十八世，浙翁琰法嗣。有《偃溪广闻禅师语录》，收入《续藏经》。事见《语录》及所附林希逸撰《塔铭》。 释广闻诗，以辑自《语录》者及其中单编之诗依原卷次编为两卷。
