昨朝较蓺偶不售，他日奏赋闻甘泉。方今庙堂喜人物，收拾万汇归陶甄。
袅蹄麟趾终一出，辉映左右无馀妍。肯学孟生誇得意，一日走遍春风前。
嗟余投老隐岩谷，形若槁木心灰然。扁舟追子仅千里，彷佛夜梦遥相传。

释道潜，本名昙潜，号参寥子，赐号妙总大师。俗姓王，钱塘（今浙江杭州）人（《续骫骳说》）。一说姓何，于潜（今浙江临安西南）人（《咸淳临安志》卷七○）。幼即出家为僧，能文章，尤喜为诗。与苏轼、秦观友善，常有倡和。哲宗绍圣间，苏轼贬海南，道潜亦因诗获罪，责令还俗。徽宗建中靖国元年（一一○一），曾肇为之辩解，复为僧。崇宁末归老江湖。其徒法颖编有《参寥子诗集》十二卷，行于世。
