范子廓庙器，至宝非凡璞。
胸怀吞云梦，豪气低华岳。
昔在童稚时，树立已卓卓。
曳裾桥门内，崭然见头角。
岁行在辛丑，帝策询民泉，
一发孰能遏。挥毫不停缀，
盈卷无点抹。汉廷孰戟郎，
环顾皆错莫。纵横五千字，
字字医国药。期於必伐病，
非徒事迂阔。怪言一惊众，
士论叹且愕。皆云布及流，
志在縻好爵。乃尔张危言，
身谋胡太错。当时群宗匠，
其间多龌龊。指言为沽直，
欲使趋鼎镬。堂堂春官臣，
主张独何桷。谠议既冰释，
众口不能铄。乙科忽大阐，
秋天一雕鹗。传诵争取先，
纸价为翔跃。声华顿辉赫，
蔼然暨南朔。忆昔客东都，
猥而英游数。每於谈笑间，
论议闻謇谔。诵语非沽名，
生平真所乐。乖离三四载，
遣我情怀恶。间者见眉宇，
飒然意气豁。亟使罗酒浆，
沈沈动清酌。秉烛夜相对，
谈词恣潮谑。公卿颇历诋，
治乱亦商略。间出新诗篇，
清制皆洒落。祗怀苍生忧，
肯为穷愁作。少陵不忘主，
气味若相若。倘使任言责，
必有裨帷幄。奈何谏诤姿，
久矣滞丘壑。似闻庙堂上，
知已被新渥。一公丞乌台，
一公相黄阁，吾君皆太平，
二公系深托。荐贤乃报国，
看子翔寥廓。

王之望（1102-1170），南宋著名诗人、书法名家。字瞻叔。南宋襄阳谷城人（今湖北省谷城县），后寓居台州（今浙江省临海县）。其父王纲，任徽州（今安徽省歙县）通判（与知府、知州共治政事），因反对金人立卖国求荣的张邦昌为君，为时人所敬重。绍兴八年（1138年）中进士，乾道六年（1170年）卒于临海。所著有《汉滨集》、《奏议》、《经解》等行于世。南宋高宗、孝宗时期著名诗人。
