吾病不喜语，客来佰寒暄。
颊舌且不能，况事交字间。
彼总乃吾旧，不见今三年。
一日踏我门，告我将南迁。
问之行所止，其去何由缘。
言方学从师，惜以日月闲。
将求佛所宗，就乞世未传。
浮舟江海波，蹀屣山岳颠。
行方极所到，未可岁月还。
谓余昔同游，当得送以言。
噫佛与吾学，两分不相全。
今余与子遇，无异东西辕。
共憩中道间，邂逅相留连。
我驾志在远，子驱良亦遄。
吾终不尔从，尔终不回旋。
两各剧所勤，相远日益悬。
又出所为文，要我加量铨。
荧荧掇其英，晔晔粲满编。
惜哉不经师，如珠莫钻穿。
虽有可宝资，终以无用捐。
吾观古人书，盖亦不但然。
道德蔼於中，口实助使宣。
岂有拔其根，而望华可搴。
不知源所来，何用其流沿。
人材苟不长，得一且可专。
六经众子文，其治自足观。
身当圣人时，来学浩万千。
独颜才庶蔑，他固未可肩。
人有老於行，不闻可逃天。
子何不从此，去就异说挛。
弗思自解纵，又欲引世缠。
常观己论徒，耻出妻子前。
彼髠以为羞，尔以为忻懽。
生弃父母养，士得执以鞭。
彼为则遇刑，尔还自称贤。
羞恶所不存，尔说尚何先。
予欲收子身，解去子所牵。
浴以青冷波，佩以兰与荃。
相从中道驱，障塞异道偏。
爱之幸其听，不听诚可怜。

王令（1032～1059）北宋诗人。初字钟美，后改字逢原。原籍元城（今河北大名）。 5岁丧父母，随其叔祖王乙居广陵（今江苏扬州）。长大后在天长、高邮等地以教学为生，有治国安民之志。王安石对其文章和为人皆甚推重。有《广陵先生文章》、《十七史蒙求》。
