参军过我夷白庵，为言廊庙高岩岩。故人谁为国柱石，临川先生危大参。
猥蒙问及且见讶，十载尺书无一缄。忆昔相从客燕赵，削去崖岸无猜嫌。
辱陪五更佐三老，劝讲《六经》陈二南。御史不容丞相忌，司隶侧目宫臣谗。
脱身党籍走吴楚，托迹丘园求孔聃。孰令展禽三见黜，自分嵇康七不堪。
平生不解带刀剑，晚岁强使閒韬钤。髀销怕骑将军马，面皱羞著从事衫。
折冲师旅非夙习，奔走戎行真可惭。危言重畏速官谤，微禄不逮供亲甘。
慰情屡抱鞶丝女，与国未办添丁男。胡为长年在道路，席不暇煖突不黔。
几回乞身向藩省，未许曝背归茅檐。终当投覈谢僚友，径去结屋依山岚。
鄙夫出处盖如此，为报先生聊口占。先生事业则异是，论道经邦民具瞻。
早令四海偃兵甲，尽遣百姓趋农蚕。时和岁丰我所愿，功成身退公当谙。
他年若访赤松子，一笑相逢掀紫髯。

陈基（1314-1370），字敬初，台州临海（今属浙江）人，寓居吴中凤凰山河阳里（今属张家港市）。元末江南著名文人，受业于当时著名学者黄溍。元末大乱，群雄纷起，割据于吴地的张士诚闻其名，召为江浙右司员外郎，参其军事，张士诚称王，授内史之职，后迁学士院学士。军旅倥偬，飞书走檄多出其手。朱元璋平吴，爱其才，召之参与《元史》的纂修工作，书成后赐金而还，卒于常熟河阳里寓所。陈基能文善书，写的诗也有不少是反映张士诚起义军生活。明史有传。著有《夷白斋稿》35卷，内诗1卷，文24卷，又外集诗、文各1卷。
