美人浴，碧沼莲开芬馥。双髻绾云颜似玉，素蛾辉淡绿。
译文：美人洗浴以后，碧绿的池塘里莲花开放，散发出芳香。她的两股发髻盘成云朵，容貌就像美玉一样；脂粉被洗淡了，露出了素净的蛾眉。
注释：芬馥：香气浓盛。沼：水池。芬馥：香气浓盛。“双髻”句：描写女子美丽的容颜。髻：在头顶或脑后盘成各种形状的头发。绾（wǎn）云：形容女子挽起的头发浓密如云。颜似玉：比喻女子面容洁白美好。““素蛾”句：形容女子双眉之美。素娥：淡而细长的眉毛。蛾须细长而弯，古人用以喻指女子之眉。素：自，淡。淡绿：古时女子以青黛画眉，色青黑，故称“绿”。“淡绿”指眉色浅淡。
雅态芳姿闲淑，雪映钿装金斛。水溅青丝珠断续，酥融香透肉。
译文：她的姿态文雅美丽，雪白的肌肤与嵌着金花的容器相互辉映。头发上的水珠断断续续地溅了下来，脸上的油脂被融化了，浸透肌肤散发出香味。
注释：“雅态”句：形容女子姿态文雅美好。闲：同“娴”，文雅。闲淑：文雅美好。“雪映”句：女子洁白的肌肤与量水的金斛互相映衬，愈显女子肌肤之美。雪：比喻女子肌肤洁白无瑕。钿：古代一种嵌金花的首饰。钿装金斛：以金花装饰的量水器。斛：量器。此指量水之器。青丝：乌黑的头发。酥：搽脸的油脂。

阎选,生卒和字里不详，五代时期后蜀的布衣，工小词。与欧阳烔、鹿虔扆、毛文锡、韩琮被时人称为“五鬼”，世传有八首小词被唐人赵崇祚收入《花间集》。《花间集》称阎处士。其他不详。
