浮萍寄清水，随风东西流。
译文：浮萍依附在清水上，随着风儿四处漂流。
注释：浮萍：一种水生植物，比喻无依无靠，随波漂流的女子。
结发辞严亲，来为君子仇。
译文：成年束发辞别父母，成为了夫君的伴侣。
注释：结发：汉族婚姻习俗。一种象征夫妻结合的仪式。当夫妻成婚时，各取头上一根头发，合而作一结。仇：伴侣。
恪勤在朝夕，无端获罪尤。
译文：从早到晚恭敬勤恳，遭受罪怨毫无缘故。
注释：恪勤：恭敬勤劳。无端：一作“中年”。
在昔蒙恩惠，和乐如瑟琴。
译文：从前蒙受您的恩惠，如奏琴瑟欢乐和穆。
注释：瑟琴：出自《诗经》，“妻子好合，如鼓琴瑟。”
何意今摧颓，旷若商与参。
译文：为何现在岁月蹉跎，远隔如商与参两宿。
注释：摧颓：蹉跎。
茱萸自有芳，不若桂与兰。
译文：茱萸自有它的香气，却不如肉桂和兰芷。
注释：茱萸：茱萸，又名“越椒”、“艾子”，是一种常绿带香的植物，具备杀虫消毒、逐寒祛风的功能。佩茱萸，中国岁时风俗之一。桂：应为樟科肉桂，非桂花。兰为何种植物，今尚有争议。
新人虽可爱，无若故所欢。
译文：新人即使令人怜爱，不如过去所爱的人。
注释：可爱：一作“成列”。
行云有返期，君恩傥中还。
译文：流云有返回之时，您的爱也许回转中途。
注释：傥：或者。
慊慊仰天叹，愁心将何愬。
译文：悲伤地仰天叹息，忧心将到哪里去倾诉？
注释：慊慊：心不满足貌；不自满貌。愬：同“诉”。
日月不恒处，人生忽若寓。
译文：日月不会永在天上，人生短暂如同寄宿。
注释：不：一作“无”。所：一作“人”。寓：一作“遇”。
悲风来入怀，泪下如垂露。
译文：悲伤的风吹入帷帐，泪水跌落像滴露珠。
注释：怀：一作“帷”。
发箧造裳衣，裁缝纨与素。
译文：打开箱子制作衣裳，裁剪缝纫洁白绢布。
注释：发：打开。一作“散”。

曹植（192－232），字子建，沛国谯（今安徽省亳州市）人。三国曹魏著名文学家，建安文学代表人物。魏武帝曹操之子，魏文帝曹丕之弟，生前曾为陈王，去世后谥号“思”，因此又称陈思王。后人因他文学上的造诣而将他与曹操、曹丕合称为“三曹”，南朝宋文学家谢灵运更有“天下才有一石，曹子建独占八斗”的评价。王士祯尝论汉魏以来二千年间诗家堪称“仙才”者，曹植、李白、苏轼三人耳。
