唐代：杜甫
鼎湖瞻望远，象阙宪章新。
译文：瞻望鼎湖江山渺远，代宗即嘘法度更新。
注释：鼎湖：鼎湖是黄帝升仙处。此处以黄帝的升天来说明玄宗和肃宗的去世。象阙（quē）：指朝廷。宪章：法制。
四海犹多难，中原忆旧臣。
译文：四海之零仍然多难，朝廷思念你这位旧臣。
注释：多难：时祸乱未平，所以说犹多难。旧臣：严武在玄宗时已为侍御史，肃宗时又为京兆少尹兼御史中丞（时年三十二），所以称为旧臣。
与时安反侧，自昔有经纶。
译文：你应时而起安抚君王的忧心，从早就具有治国的才能。
注释：安反侧：指平安史之乱。经纶：是用治丝的事情来比喻一个人的文武才干的。
感激张天步，从容静塞尘。
译文：你慷慨奋发壮大国运，从容地平定了西蜀的边争。
注释：感激：奋发。张天步：张国运，指收复京师。从容：有应付自如之意。静塞尘：指镇守四川。
南图回羽翮，北极捧星辰。
译文：如今要从蜀地返回京都，去朝廷辅佐新君。
注释：北极：北极五星，其一曰北辰，是天之最尊星，故古人多以喻朝廷或皇帝。
漏鼓还思昼，宫莺罢啭春。
译文：夜闻漏鼓盼望天明启程，计算着入朝应在宫莺罢啭的时辰。
注释：漏鼓：漏是古代的计时器。。思昼：待旦，等天亮。用“思”字是为了调平仄。宫莺罢啭春：点明严武入朝已在夏天，宫莺都不歌唱了。鸟叫得好听叫啭。
空留玉帐术，愁杀锦城人。
译文：这里空留你的用兵之术，成都人民都愁苦万分。
注释：玉帐术：古代兵家一种安营的方法，认为主帅在某月将营帐安在某个方位，敌人就无法攻破，是一种迷信。锦城：指成都。
阁道通丹地，江潭隐白蘋。
译文：你将行经栈道进入朝廷，我仍在江边隐居有如白苹。
注释：阁道：栈道。丹地：指皇帝的宫廷，因宫廷都用红色涂饰。这是说严武入朝。江潭隐白蘋：蘋通苹，苹的繁体字作蘋。
此生那老蜀？不死会归秦！
译文：这辈子哪能老于蜀地？如果不死一定要回到关中跟你一样效忠朝廷。
注释：会：定。秦：此处代指长安。
公若登台辅，临危莫爱身！
译文：你若能登上台辅之位，危机关头切莫顾惜自身！
注释：台辅：即宰相。台，三台，星名，又名泰阶。辅，辅佐。莫爱身：献身。

杜甫（712－770），字子美，自号少陵野老，世称“杜工部”、“杜少陵”等，汉族，河南府巩县（今河南省巩义市）人，唐代伟大的现实主义诗人，杜甫被世人尊为“诗圣”，其诗被称为“诗史”。杜甫与李白合称“李杜”，为了跟另外两位诗人李商隐与杜牧即“小李杜”区别开来，杜甫与李白又合称“大李杜”。他忧国忧民，人格高尚，他的约1400余首诗被保留了下来，诗艺精湛，在中国古典诗歌中备受推崇，影响深远。759-766年间曾居成都，后世有杜甫草堂纪念。
