唐代：李商隐
玄武湖中玉漏催，鸡鸣埭口绣襦回。
译文：玄武湖中的玉漏声声，似乎催促早动身，在鸡鸣埭口宫女们身穿锦绣曲折环绕。
注释：玄武湖：在今江苏南京，南朝宋文帝时建成，后成为游览胜地。玉漏催：指时间流逝。玉漏，古代计时器，靠壶水滴漏来测算时间。鸡鸣埭：玄武湖北堤名。南朝齐武帝经常带宫嫔一早出游，到湖北堤时鸡才鸣叫，所以称“鸡鸣埭”。埭，堤坝。绣襦：锦绣短袄，贵家妇女的装束，这里借指宫嫔。
谁言琼树朝朝见，不及金莲步步来。
译文：有谁说琼树一样的妃嫔天天都见面，步步都生出金莲来也远远比不上。
注释：琼：美玉，这里用作修饰语，如玉般美丽。金莲步步来：南朝齐废帝曾用黄金制成莲花，贴放地上，让宠爱的潘妃在上面行走，说是“步步生莲花”。
敌国军营漂木柿，前朝神庙锁烟煤。
译文：敌对国家的军营漂来了造船的木片，陈朝三祖的宗庙已被烟尘所封。
注释：敌国：指北方的隋朝。木柿：从木头上削下的碎片。前朝神庙：指陈皇室的祖庙。前朝，陈后主以前的几代皇帝。锁烟煤：被烟尘所封盖，意思是没有人打扫上祭。
满宫学士皆颜色，江令当年只费才。
译文：陈朝宫中的嫔妃和女学士都姿容艳丽，江总在当年要描绘她们也费尽了才华。
注释：颜色：指姿容美丽的女子。江令：指江总，在陈朝任尚书令（宰相）。才：指文才。江总不理政务，专门用文才为陈后主游宴助兴，所以说“只费才”。

李商隐，字义山，号玉溪（谿）生、樊南生，唐代著名诗人，祖籍河内（今河南省焦作市）沁阳，出生于郑州荥阳。他擅长诗歌写作，骈文文学价值也很高，是晚唐最出色的诗人之一，和杜牧合称“小李杜”，与温庭筠合称为“温李”，因诗文与同时期的段成式、温庭筠风格相近，且三人都在家族里排行第十六，故并称为“三十六体”。其诗构思新奇，风格秾丽，尤其是一些爱情诗和无题诗写得缠绵悱恻，优美动人，广为传诵。但部分诗歌过于隐晦迷离，难于索解，至有“诗家总爱西昆好，独恨无人作郑笺”之说。因处于牛李党争的夹缝之中，一生很不得志。死后葬于家乡沁阳（今河南焦作市沁阳与博爱县交界之处）。作品收录为《李义山诗集》。
