竹摇清影罩幽窗，两两时禽噪夕阳。
译文：竹子在微风中将清雅的影子笼罩在幽静的窗户上，成双成对的鸟儿正在夕阳下尽情地喧噪鸣叫。
注释：罩幽窗：竹影笼罩而使窗前幽暗。两两：成双作对的。时禽：泛指应时的雀鸟。噪：聒噪、吵扰。
谢却海棠飞尽絮，困人天气日初长。
译文：在这海棠花凋谢、柳絮飞尽的初夏，只觉炎热的天气世人感到乏困，白昼也开始变得漫长。
注释：谢却：凋谢、谢掉。絮：柳絮。困人天气：指初夏使人慵懒的气候。日初长：白昼开始变长了。

朱淑真（约1135~约1180），号幽栖居士，宋代女诗人，亦为唐宋以来留存作品最丰盛的女作家之一。南宋初年时在世，祖籍歙州（治今安徽歙县），《四库全书》中定其为“浙中海宁人”，一说浙江钱塘（今浙江杭州）人。生于仕宦之家。夫为文法小吏，因志趣不合，夫妻不睦，终致其抑郁早逝。又传淑真过世后，父母将其生前文稿付之一炬。其余生平不可考，素无定论。现存《断肠诗集》、《断肠词》传世，为劫后余篇。
