今年二月冻初融，睡起苕溪绿向东。
译文：今年二月早春时节，冰雪都开始融化了，寒冬时节沉睡了已久的苕溪，夹带着几丝绿色，潺潺涓涓，向东流去。
注释：天经：姓叶，名德。智老：即大圆洪智和尚。诗中“禅伯”指大圆洪智，“儒先”指叶天经。苕溪：河名，源出浙江省天目山，流经余杭、杭州、湖州等地，进入太湖。
客子光阴诗卷里，杏花消息雨声中。
译文：我寓居他乡，在吟诗作赋中淡泊度日。杏花时节，伴随着窗外稀稀落落的雨声，我时常探听远方好友的音讯。
西庵禅伯还多病，北栅儒先只固穷。
译文：西庵所居住的智老精于禅学，但病魔缠身；北栅所居住的天经精于儒学，又安于穷困。
注释：西庵：智老所居。位于湖州东南九十里的乌镇。禅伯：形容智老精于禅学。北栅：天经所居。亦位于湖州东南九十里的乌镇。儒先：形容天经精于儒学。固穷：安于穷困。
忽忆轻舟寻二子，纶巾鹤氅试春风。
译文：我忽然想念他们，于是就荡舟寻访这二位老友。在春风的吹拂下，我头戴纶巾，身披鹤氅，是何等的风流俊逸！
注释：纶巾鹤氅：是六朝以来名士喜爱的穿戴，这里比喻诗人是雅人。纶巾，用丝带做成的头巾。鹤氅，用鸟羽做成的外衣。

陈与义(1090-1138)，字去非，号简斋，汉族，其先祖居京兆，自曾祖陈希亮迁居洛阳，故为宋代河南洛阳人（现在属河南）。他生于宋哲宗元祐五年(1090年)，卒于南宋宋高宗绍兴八年(1138年)。北宋末，南宋初年的杰出诗人，同时也工于填词。其词存于今者虽仅十余首，却别具风格，尤近于苏东坡，语意超绝，笔力横空，疏朗明快，自然浑成，著有《简斋集》。
